Meetup Day!

Glad to see my friends today. For lunch, I met up with a great friend / mentor for lunch today. Good to catch up with him as his words are always so enlightening. I like his saying that everything you do can lead to success it's just about how passionate you are in doing it and whether it's your own strengths in doing those stuff. Because, if the garang guni can be successful, the hawker selling famous food can be successful, what else can't be? Actually, even if you sell fish, as passionate as qianhu's boss, you can also succeed in selling fish!

As for me, my hobby is really in writing blogs I felt. 'cos I find it rather fun to do it. I'm still in the process of improving and writing stuff that adds more value, even if it's just about my own life. If by sharing about me, can add values to other's life, even if it's just a bit of entertainment, that's enough for me! Just that recently, I quite lack the creativity touch. Except for my McChicken Call Options analogy.

As for tonight's gathering, although there's only 3 others but at least there are 3 turn ups. I enjoyed talking to them. Hope to see more people at the next class gathering then. :)

Real Implications of 2G Service Termination for Singapore

I know the article about 2G service termination across singapore from 1st Apr 2017 was written in 2015. But how many of us actually understand the true impact of this termination then? Before things get terminated, we may have felt that since our phone is the latest model or it is at least new, the impact is minimal. But how true is that really? Please, with Dual SIM feature, it's definitely not a Sunset! Monopoly Deal - A Fun Game to Play @ Chalets!

I felt that Monopoly Deal is really a fun and challenging game to play, especially at the Chalet. There are many rules to the game, but luckily we had a  monopoly deal rules expert with us to double-click with in event of discrepancy! I feel that it requires strategy and some form of luck to win the game. So far, I always get good property cards sets but it always get taken away 'cos I don't have the "Just say NO" card and it tend to get taken away, especially if I've a complete set. Then, I tried the strategy of not putting up a complete set, then it also doesn't really work 'cos in the end, I don't end up putting my sets on the table. Perhaps, I'll need to play a lot more times and try different methods till I get the idea right I guess. If you do have the chance, try playing that game.
