Thoughts on my Birthday: Blessed to have you all in my life!

Every year, at this particular day, I would always feel super blessed and happy that it's my birthday again and I've so many friends that remembers it and drops me a happy birthday blessing! And I actually felt like crying now... Not because I'm sad but because I felt very touched to have many friends with me since last week to celebrate my birthday with me and giving me their blessings! I love all my friends and my family for being there and being with me all these years, taking care of me in one way or another.

Finally Completed my Dream Wallpaper!

Yeah!! I've finally completed the creation of my dream wallpaper and finished setting my new year resolutions! I love my new wallpaper! Originally, there's only me on the photos and I came to realised that if  there's only me, there will never be any company at all, so I've decided to add in a ? person created from the facebook's no profile photo image. :D So that at least, I have some company :p

Thoughts on this Christmas Events!

Well, Christmas this year is probably the most happening event ever I guess, went for 2 christmas party, and 2 celebration gatherings and 1 movie outing, over a period of 4 days. Had lots of fun and presents.. :D Here's what happened...

Gulliver's Travels - Nice Movie!

Watched the Gulliver's Travels today and felt that it's a pretty nice and exciting show to watch. Just that, it's sort of a bit short since it's not even 2 hours long. Probably only about 1.5 hours ba, according to my friend's estimate. Image from: Gullivers Travels Movie 2010 Posters Trailers Review I quite like their fighting part, it's pretty funny I felt. - 4.5 out of 5 stars for that. The story line is quite different and pretty unexpected - 4 out of 5 stars. Interesting level - 4 out of 5 stars. So... If you are thinking about watching it, you should probably just go and watch it! It's nice anyway! I certainly felt that I'm right to have chosen to watch it over Tron haha.. But that's just my point of view thought.

Merry Christmas 2010!

Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays!! I just would like to wish everyone of you a  Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays !  Enjoy your weekend & next weekend!  & Also a Happy New Year ! All the best for this coming year!  May all your wishes & dreams come true!!

Ice Skating Experience

Had a fun, exciting yet tiring and painful ice skating experience yesterday! It's actually the first time I'm going for ice skating after so many years. It's fun because I love the feeling of being able to move forward smoothly and the feeling of not knowing how to reduce speed and keeping my balance is really exciting. Haha.. This is the Marina Bay Sands' Ice Skating Ring, Pretty Big but then it isn't really cold and have no "ice". So we've decided to move on to Kallang Leisure Park! Yet it's a painful experience because for the 2nd time, I felt down. When I'm moving across this particular super wet area, I just lost control of my own balancing and felt down on my bums. Ouch! Fortunately, I'm very blessed that one nice stranger decided to stop and pull me up and got me to the side of the ring. Thank you so much!! At the end of the session, my legs are pretty tired and I'm blessed to have a great friend who supported me to the ch

Thanks for your support @ What The Flea!

I felt relieved and blessed that our booth last sat had much more supporters / visitors and customers as compared to last week. Perhaps presentation does matters. We did a slight adjustment in our price for 1 bottle, and surprisingly, I think people felt more comfortable looking at prices starting from a lower range.  There are people that walked around the entire fair and still come back for our products after that, as we had the widest range and variety in our OPI nail polish range! I felt very grateful for our nice friends that came to visit us, and some of them even got a few items from us! Some of them even reached earlier than us :D I feels good to see familiar faces! Thank you for making a trip down to look for us! As for the bra straps, I think perhaps those that we did wear on ourselves will have buyers for it. Last week, Shermaine wore the pearl one, so the pearl ones were sold. This week, I wore the butterfly one, so the butterfly ones were sold. Interesting, isn't i

Monopoly Deal - A Fun Game to Play @ Chalets!

I felt that Monopoly Deal is really a fun and challenging game to play, especially at the Chalet. There are many rules to the game, but luckily we had a  monopoly deal rules expert with us to double-click with in event of discrepancy! I feel that it requires strategy and some form of luck to win the game. So far, I always get good property cards sets but it always get taken away 'cos I don't have the "Just say NO" card and it tend to get taken away, especially if I've a complete set. Then, I tried the strategy of not putting up a complete set, then it also doesn't really work 'cos in the end, I don't end up putting my sets on the table. Perhaps, I'll need to play a lot more times and try different methods till I get the idea right I guess. If you do have the chance, try playing that game. It's really exciting, 'cos you'll never know how long will your properties stay with you! As well as, how much money you can have in your hands. T

As I'm walking along the transit area towards the green line inside the MRT station, there's this particular weird guy looking at me for quite some time. I'm actually on my way to meet Lina for some discussion and to get her take a photo of me. It's actually pretty warm so I'm just wearing my dress along with the butterfly bra strap, I think that's why ba.

What The Flea Part 1

McCafe's Latte Art

McCafe's Latte Art Although I've seen pictures and heard about Latte Art, yesterday morning is the first time ever that I've seen the Art myself. It's a leaf design done by McCafe. Looks pretty cool. I wonder if we can actually pick the designs ourselves and get them to draw it or not?

Win Win Networking Event - It's Awesome!

I'm glad that tonight's Win Win Networking event is a success! It's great to see that so many people turned up for the event. Thanks for the wonderful support & weather!

I'm back!!

Hey!! I'm finally back from my trip. I've uploaded all my photos onto facebook! The food at Penang is mostly nice. But I missed that beef noodles from AMK, 'cos particular noodles tastes better than Penang. :P The only issue is that... I can't remember exactly where's that place and I've no idea how to get there. I particularly liked the porridge and fried oyster :D Although Penang also have many cars, the air at the roadside is rather clean and not a lot of dust. Most importantly, it's not noisy. The people there are really very friendly. Especially, when we ask the stall aunties for advice on got what other nice food to eat, they actually recommend each other's food as if there were never any competition! Thanks to the More photos from the trip...

Wedding Dinner Yesterday!

The wedding dinner is Great! The food is nice and I like the performance by the MC especially, whether is it high pitch or low pitch songs, they both sang so well! And they even dance on the stage!! Then there's also the relative's singing session. And I concluded that perhaps most people in Penang very sings well haha... The wedding has this rather traditional chinese feeling, with the words they use, the songs being played. The customer service is also pretty good I felt. But it will be even better if they can be a little faster :p I love the bride's dress, it's looks very delicate and pretty! :) After which, we had photo taking session and the few of us went for KTV session after the event haha.. It's a fun night! That's Us & The Couple with His Bro! More photos...

On a Coach to Penang!

Dear friends, I should be on my way on a coach on the way to Penang. If you have anything that you wish to contact me, please leave me a message either through email or facebook message. Will get back to you when I come back. I'll be back on the 8th Dec night time I think. I will be attending my friend's wedding dinner this coming monday! All the best to your coming week! See you all around. I shall take lots of photos if my camera does get exported to Penang. Honestly speaking, I've never been to Penang and I hope that there's lots of nice food to eat! Thanks a lot! Cheers, Peiru :P

Lesson from Networking Presentation!

Substituted my friend for BNI this morning, and had a great breakfast! Hope that I've added massive value to my friend through the 1 min sharing session.  I felt that actually to connect with the audience isn't that difficult provided that I can read from script simply in an obvious manner haha.. So far that's the only way that I really felt confident when I actually present that I know of. In fact, it's much easier helping my friend present than sharing about my own stuff which, I'm simply unprepared for. :P The, it sets me thinking, is it because of the crowd, as in crowd that are around for networking purpose is better? Or is it because reading from script directly is much easier? I've concluded that, perhaps it's actually both that makes the task easier. :D

Lesson from a Haircut

Actually, I just got my haircut today, from the usual hair stylist and came to understand that... My hair stylist did a Great job today, although it's a similar hairstyle but today I felt that he cut with more love and passion. Just because, I told him that, "Actually all I need is a bob hairstyle that's easy to manage, just cut it the way that you think it'll look best!" After which, he seems pretty happy and tell me that the usual style is that he cut the last 2 time is the best, he can't promise that it'll look the same but he'll do his best. 'cos he's not a robot so not everytime will look the same. But somehow, I just felt that this time, it looks much better than the 1st 2 haircuts although it's similar but it just has a more "alive" feeling I felt... So the conclusion is that, everyone in their own expertise can do a much better job if they hear want they like to hear. Lead them to what you want them to do, but don'

Great Weekend @ MMI (Millionaire Mind Intensive)

I'm simply amazed by T. Harv Eker's selling skill! Imagine... whenever he is the one selling, the results was really fantastic, looking at the number of people that walks to the booth. Can you believe that even before he stated the actual price, they are there crowding around the booth lol. I really admire his skills. When it's Adam selling as what happened on the first day, the result and feeling is just different. Perhaps you may say that I over analyzed but as what most low cost seminars are meant for, it's just a preview to many other courses, the full set of courses are also known as the "Quantum Leap". They really value add to our lives a lot! They even gave us a card with the declarations and a 90 days workbook at the end of the program! The overall sessions are very motivating but I like T. Harv's presentation more :P The tasks that he got us to do is really for our own good, and he even bother to explain to us why we need to do that. The entire

MMI Day 1

As I'm blessed with a VIP ticket, I attended MMI ( Millionaire Mind Intensive ) program today. I'll also be attending the event on both tomorrow and Sunday. Although most of the contents are in 1 way or another being covered during some of Executive Direction 's programs, I still learned some things. The truth is that, when I first attended Wendy & Jerome's program, it's actually a lot more interesting than this one. Some of the declarations sounds rather similar to Ken & Clive's program as well. So sometimes, I'll confused and cheer with "I'm a Millionaire Investor" instead of "You have a Millionaire Mind". LOL! It's good to be able to understand more about myself internally and the root cause of our money concepts. By understanding that, then it'll be easier to correct the issue(s), if any. In fact, one of the main reasons why I'm there is because I want to see how they upsell things. As I've heard about

Glad that WIN WIN Networking Event is a Success!

I'm glad to have added value to people's life tonight through the sharing to the networking tips and hosting of the event! The participants seem to be having a great time listening to our sharing session and especially so during the networking session. It's actually quite tough to get them seated and continue listening to the sharing session. But thanks to the rest of the committee team, we manage to do it. As the entire event was conducted without a mic, I'm very happy that they can hear me although I'm running low on my voice towards the end of the event. Even though I'm actually quite nervous and missed out some lines, the overall event was a success since no one really knew what I left out. I guess the music stand helps. I felt that it'll be even better for me if the notes is just in a point form so that I can just read and elaborate from there. Since, I wasn't exactly following the entire script  after I felt more comfortable during the session oth

Kind Soul @ Borders

I'm blessed to have met a kind soul in borders that gave me his seat when he was about to leave the area, just 'cos he saw me sitting on the floor. Haha.  Didn't catch much sleep today as I slept quite late last night, while trying to rush out my stuff, and there's an early morning meeting today. But at least, I've got to rest a bit, sitting down and thinking through my future plans. Now having some food at McDonald's and updating my blog.  Looking forward to tonight's networking event in which for the 1st time, I'm part of the committee in organizing an event, almost from scratch. Doing the logo design, tee shirt design and ticket design. Then being the MC of today but I still haven't really practice much. After going through once yesterday, reading from script, I really need to pray for everything to go as smoothly as yesterday. For once, I'm able to speak in a confident and fearless manner yesterday but with more people today, I can't be

Enlightening Walking Class!

Had my walking training lesson and finally understood why is it that ppl can tell it's me walking into a room from my footstep. It's just due to wrong walking technique. After the lesson, I've learnt how to walk with a lot less noise and how to be more stable when walking in high heels. Glad that I've met Vanessa so that I can then correct my own walking method over time, probably won't trip or fall that easily next time. :P Vanessa, thanks a lot for your patience and guidance.

Hi ROI on my Ice Milo

I'm blessed to have got quite a high return on my Ice Milo investment I've made today, with my group of friends after our meeting.

Added & Received Massive Value @ PIP this Weekend!

Was there to help out this weekend to support the participants and received massive values from our speakers, and other participants. I'm blessed to have met many old friends and met some new ones! I like the new live feed layout that they have used to deliver the program to around 400 participants! As it makes us feel much closer to the stage and be able to see the text that they write clearer as well, thanks to the live video feed! Also, I like the new Legal Advisor, whom I've met earlier at BNI - Abundance. He much more interesting and adds lots of values to us. I love his stories and jokes! Thanks, Ting Fai for being there! Also, there are much more sharing from Wendy and Jerome for this Property Investment Program . In fact, I like it better this way, as their sharing is the most value adding portion of the session. It's good that they have asked for more feedback from the participants via the feedback form so that the program can improve and become better along the

Inspired to Improve my Blogging Skills!

After guiding one of my mentors on how to set up and use a blog, I felt quite inspired by the way he intends to run it. I shall read up more things about how to blog effectively and improve my readership. After blogging for years, so far I only have like 2-5% of my facebook friends actually visiting my blog and read more. I felt that other than having the necessary technical skills, there should be something else that I'm lacking that's why it hasn't been able to work out yet. As long as I persisted and continue to improve, I believe that one day, I should be able to make things work better for me. There's still think nice looking retweet and like feature that I like but have yet to figure out how to create it. Anyway, other than that, I still got many other stuff I need to do. I'm now looking at how I can clear all my backlogs and move on with my life.

Is life really that challenging?

I believes that everything does happen for a reason. Without challenges, would you still be able to appreciate your peaceful and smooth sailing days more? If everyday is smooth sailing and great, you are very blessed then. In life, sometimes, there's up and sometimes, there's down. And it goes on... Without all the ups and downs of life, it wouldn't have been this fun and enjoyable when you are at the up portion of life. When you are at the bottom of life, it's really not the time to feel despair because it's just the universe testing your intentions and setting you up to achieve something greater in life! Once you overcome that, you will then understand why it happens when you look back one day. Cheer up and move on! Jiayou!

Sunflower Day

I'm blessed to have nice friends like Shermaine who gave us 1 nice sunflower each today. I always thought that I didn't like flowers, but I do find the sunflower rather interesting. Wanted to take the small little bee like creature on my sun flower but my camera insisted on perceiving it to be perfect so. It ended up looking so perfect instead. I'm still wondering what's the occasion today. Looking forward for the breath work session tomorrow. I wonder if I'd feel anything this time, other than hunger haha.. :P In the evening, I went to my grandpa's 80th bday celebration and I guess, it's really a success. Almost everyone was there except for my cousin who got posted to Australia during this period of time. Honestly speaking, although my grandma didn't look at my camera but she seems to be looking at my grandpa lovingly, isn't she? I love my life!

Self Mastery Intensive Review - Day 1

I'm blessed to be able to review the Self Mastery Intensive Program again. It refreshes my memory and re-enforce the keys and ideas shared during the program. One of my favourite idea is that for Success is not about "I must have...", it's about "As long as ....". By doing so, we will be able to have multiple success all the time in life. As long as we have the attitude of being gratitude to things that we already have that we can then attract more things that we want into our life! I felt good about the exercise shared after every break is very interesting as well. It really helps in releasing our muscle tension and improves blood circulation. Looking forward to the rest of the program! :)

Learning through Sharing & Others' Experience

I'm blessed to be able to learn about how one should present on the stage through peer review process. Although, I'm not the one presenting, by giving feedback and thinking about what else can be improved does help in the process of learning how to present better should I have the chance to do so. Learning through others' experience and sharing session is a easier short-cut to future success I felt. But without doing any actual presentation probably won't help either. So I've decided to just give it a try but doing a 1 min presentation  at tonight's sharing session haha.. Whether or not people are interested or not doesn't really matter at least I get to practice and learn more from it. Anyway, I'll still need be more confidence and less nervous when talking in front of many people as I'll need to be the MC of a networking session held on 25 Nov evening this month. I hope that everything will go well for me.

It's Great to be MIP 13's Logistic Support!

Having support MIP over the weekend, I felt quite blessed to be part of the logistic team as we had lots of fun, had more great friends, got to revise on the various ways of analysis and brought home a new mind map, which looks pretty interesting and informative. I always felt that it's really great that such a wonderful program is still constantly improving itself for the better. And I finally got a chance to take photos with our master instructors. :) Looking forward to the next batch in Dec. Every batch, there's always a new pose for the participants as well as the logistics photos. :D And I felt very much appreciated for being part of the logistics of that event. This time round there are 16 people supporting as logistics, including their staff. So far that's the biggest logistic team I've seen so far as after we subtract away their staff, there are still about 13 of us, volunteering to be the supporters. I wonder if in the next batch, will there be more than 20

Robert Timms

I feel that Robert Timms at Border is quite a nice place to have coffee or tea at, because of the great customer service provided. Whenever, I turn my head to look around, the staff comes to my service, without even requiring me to call for them most of the time. Probably because of the staff : customer ratio, which is pretty high. With the price that their drinks are selling at, and the customer service provided, I find it rather reasonable. The only thing that I felt can be better about that cafe place is in terms of the sound proofing. The place is pretty cosy just that the echo from all our voices are a bit loud. The environment will be perfect if there can be no echo at all. Robert Timms = Great Customer Service!

Mettle Games

It's interesting to be able to see the various stuns performed, such as driving a car on 2 wheels, car dancing (yes it's the car that danced!) , super fast parallel parking and reverse parking. There's also the drifting performance as well. It's also rather shocking to see the spark coming out of the exhaust from one of the cars when it's about to move, along with the spark, there's also very loud noise, almost like gun shot sound. Jayden, thanks for the ticket. The organiser team actually carried portable 100plus and fan for distribution as well. How sweet of them. :) Here's some of the other videos: Wake Boarding   Drifting Speed Parallel Parking Speed Reverse Parking 2 Wheel Drive

Interesting & Fulfilling Discussion!

I'm blessed to be able to have a fulfilling discussion with Joel, this afternoon. I'm amazed by what he does for a living and find it very interesting. After talking to him, I actually have a much clearer idea on what I wanted to achieve in life and saw a different light in the things I can do. I felt very grateful and blessed to have met so many nice people in my life that guided me along the way. My new plans for the rest of this month is to sit down and start planning how I intend to move forward in my life. :) Another very interesting thing about Joel is in terms of what his name means: J - Joy O - Optimism E - Excitement L - Laughter It's an innovative way to describe himself, yet it's very true. If you happen to feel down or need more laughter and clarity in your life. Do consider meeting up with him.

Transcend Beyond Destiny

Felt more peaceful and happier after attending the Transcend Section as part of the review of the Advanced Numerology Program yesterday. The reason why I got to attend it is because I chose to help my master out at the Love & Light Festival. :) Perhaps, it's part of the journey that I need to go through to reconnect myself with my heart. Although most of the time, I'm happy and joyous but then somehow or rather, other than being able to feel happy, I hardly show any other emotions. Not because I won't feel sad but more of because I'm not exactly connected to my heart, so somehow, I tend to suppress all the unhappy feelings more. The only fortunate thing is that luckily, most of the time I really am happy. That's when you will see me smiling all the time. But when I don't smile that much, it's probably when I'm more disconnected. With the program today, we are taught to meditate in a different from usual way, to meditate and feel our physical body, e

Visiting Pam at Little India

It's Great to see Pam again after so long! It looks like quite a busy place to be at, especially on Sunday. Then, we went to eat somewhere nearby. It feels good to have dinner kaki as well. :) See more photos...

Blessed Day

I felt very blessed that for once, I got to catch up with my friend who invited me to her house warming party. Actually, her house is pretty nice looking, as for convenience wise, actually, it's still not bad although it is at woodlands area, at least it is located near the MRT station. I thought Woodlands is actually quite far from town but then actually, from her MRT station to Tanjong Pagar Station only takes about 45-50mins. Which is pretty fast I should say. After all from my house's MRT station to the same place, it takes about 40mins. :) Another blessed thing is that although it rained a while after I reached her house, the rain stopped when I left it, so I didn't need an umbrella. Hence, I'm blessed with nice temperature and clear sky when I'm walking to and fro the MRT station. Hope to see her and my other friends that weren't there again soon, since she's arranging for a gathering.

Had Indian Food & Some Drinks

Naan Indian Bread Had dinner at one of the Indian restaurant in Little India yesterday. The Naan bread taste good. I like the cheese one that I've picked and the butter chicken tasted good as well. :P But the embarrassing part is that I actually need my foreigner friend to tell me which Indian Food is nice and non-spicy, and bring me around Little India. It's time that I need to explore Singapore more and recognize the roads. At least, I'm supposed to know my own home town better isn't it? Also, it's actually the 1st time that I've seen someone put lime into their beer, it's rather interesting I felt. I'm still wondering, what is it meant for. That place also comes with free Tapas, which is some small finger food to go along. At the nearby area, I saw this cute looking signboard with a dog on it. It's called the Backpacker's pub according to the sign. I quite like the signboard actually. :D

Dinner @ Orchard

Nice menu at Central Hong Kong Cafe Had an enjoyable dinner discussion with one of my best friends at Orchard area. In fact, we are also debating about is it possible to be passionate about something if it really don't generates income. Well, to me is that I think it's because of passion that someone becomes successful 'cos of the numerous famous successful people that I've known so far. But she was thinking that if they didn't make that much, they won't actually be that passionate about it after all. So it's actually because they've made a fortune from it that they became even more passionate about the things they did. And it didn't end up with much conclusion on that area in the end. Upcoming Christmas Tree Deco Then, we went for window shopping, looking at the latest bargains at taka. In fact, who says that taka only sells expensive stuff? So far most of my night gowns for wedding dinner are bought there and most are bought at the sale. So it a

I'm blessed but still a little uncertain..

Originally, I thought I already knew what I wanted, it's just that I haven't quite figured out how to go about implementing it. However, today after my appointment with a BNI friend today, I came to understand more that I didn't really sit down and think about what is it that I really want to do. I've always been blessed with lots of people that helped me along the way. But exactly what's my passion and what I want to do, seems to still be quite blur. 'cos I didn't really implement some of my plans. But at least for once, I felt pretty certain that whichever it is, it will work out and succeed. With all the possible support and guidance I had from all my friends and mentors, everything is possible. So I've decided to meet up with one of my best friend on Wednesday and see how ba. I look forward to meeting her soon.

Nice Marina Bay Sands Night View

Was at Marina Bays Sands's iProperty Fair this weekend and I think their night view is really very nice. On sat, there was even a photography contest hence there's a lot of people taking photographs there.

Investment Outlook Seminar Review

This Thursday, my friend invited me to an FA Investment Outlook Seminar at URA Centre. After attending the seminar, I felt that Financial Alliance's seminar is quite unlike other investment seminars that I've been to. They gave me a feeling that they'll protect their clients interest genuinely.  An example of protecting the client's interest is that when they felt that the market is going to correct, they've currently implemented the plan of shifting down their client's portfolio by 1 level so that it is faster in reducing their risk and exposure, i.e. an balanced portfolio after the shift will probably become a conservative portfolio after the shift. I like the way the protect their clients and they are very honest about their performance and judgment in things. They shared about the part that they will only increase the equities exposure of their clients in the recent market bull run after they monitor it for a while and felt confident enough that the market

Discovery from my Fingerprint Analysis

After going through the free fingerprint reading during the preview today, I came to realized that fingerprint reading isn't as simple as what I thought it was. Initially, I thought that I have 3 ulnar loops and 1 unknown loop when I went through the analysis myself purely based on the paper that I've got. But then I found out today that actually it's 3 whorl loop and 1 ulnar loop. 'cos the free analysis covers only the thumb and index finger of both hands. Through the preview, I also found out about the various types of loops. Honestly speaking, as a non-trained personnel, it's not easy to tell them apart haha. After seeing my left index finger, that whorl loop really look very much like the ulnar loop. But the good thing is that at least I found out what my loops are today and I've got to learn many new things today. :) At least, I can now categorize between those 4 main categories of loops better. Just that, I can't tell exactly which specific type under

Gathering @ Marina Mandarin Hotel

It seems to be a trend that my friends somehow like to book hotel room to stay and celebrate each other's birthday! Last friday, our dearest nana also booked a room for our gathering and celebration. :) Enjoyed ourselves chatting, drinking and laughing. Thank you nana for handling all the admin stuff! May you have a safe trip to Aussie! See you around when you are back. More Photos @ Facebook
