Cloud Forest - Gardens by the Bay

The Cloud Forest is the other Dome that we visited that day. It's a very beautiful place with a waterfall welcoming  us as we entered the area. The best view of the waterfall is when the light shines through the water and creates that light rainbow effect as seen in the photo below... Lovely, isn't it? As per it's name, the Cloud Forest is very foggy when we reached the top most level. Giving us an illusion  as if there's really "clouds" surrounding the mountain top. There are also various species of flowers in the area, beautifying the entire place...

Flower Dome - Gardens by the Bay

Here's our ticket to the Flower Dome and the Cloud Forest. I'm glad that we went there in the afternoon instead of evening as that gave me a chance to took photos of almost all the flowers in the Flower Dome area. :) Here's the Flower Ranges... The Red Leaves.. The Very Special Leaves The Red Flower

Gardens By the Bay - Weekend Afternoon

We went to the Gardens by the Bay again today, to visit the 2 indoor gardens within the domes - Flower Dome & Cloud Forest. I think the Gardens at look much greener but is really very hot on a Sunday Afternoon, as compare to the night time that I went over previously. I would say that, the view and experience is totally different. From the way it looks, this is a place where you can spent the entire day at, if you visit each sightseeing place leisurely.  We parked at the carpark in the area (this is the further one as the nearer one is full)  I liked the greenery view along the way...

KOI Coconut Jelly Milk Tea - NEW

The New Coconut Jelly Milk Tea from KOI reminds of me of the QQ Milk Tea from Agan Tea which I like better than the current milk tea variety left at KOI. This picture above is the weird combi I ordered to make it similar to QQ Milk tea, did you see that pearl too? LOL!! Well, KOI used to be my favourite bubble tea store when the Oolong Milk Tea variant is still available for sale. However, with their recent revamp in their menu, my favorite drink was removed totally which makes me very disappointed! I would say that the best milk tea from KOI was the Oolong Milk tea and the ice cream milk tea which are both taken off from their menu!! Why? And apparently being a smaller used to be regular consumer, I had feedback to their staff about this but was to no avail. The staff told me everything was still there except for Oolong tea. Then, only when my friend told me, his favorite ice cream milk tea was gone too. Oops, I'm out of point here.. I tried to simulate the QQ mi

Marina Bay Sands - Garden By the Bay

The new garden by the bay is a pretty dark place to visit at night. Perhaps because its highlight is the after dark music and light display on the trees. But the scenery is certainly beautiful. I wonder how it looks like in the day though. After all, I visited last sunday night and reaches around 8+pm... Just before it closed. Up the bridge to the sky gardens One of the nicest view is the ferry wheel with the various lighting of the trees, lighting up in the same shades synchronously. The giant tree garden looks pretty alluring under the moonlight. As of now, there's the OCBC Light and Sound show between: 07:45 PM - 08:00 PM. Go closer and you'll get to hear the nice musical songs at night. I was there after 8pm but before 9pm and I do hear the nice musical songs :P I think the paid garden looks pretty and might be worth our visit. We'd drop by another day as it's already pretty late by the time we are there. The

Panasonic Lumix Workshop & Cosmo Parade

I'm blessed to get a chance to attend the "I Love Lumix Photography Workshop by Bob Lee" organized by OMY, last saturday. I would say that because the workshop is pretty much conceptual and Bob shares more about the idea behind what makes a photo good, rather than just technical camera usage skills. This is good as it's a lot more practical for a point and shot camera user like me. That's me and the new Panasonic Lumix GF5 camera which I was loan for the day. The biggest take away from the workshop is that I understand that it's extra effort we put into our photo can make it stand out among others. Well, I didn't get selected as one of the 5 participants that gets to keep the camera for 1 month to continue taking photos of the various events at the SHINE Youth Festival 2012. Well, here's the unedited photos taken by a SLR camera noob -- Me, of course. That's the first time ever in my life that I got to play with such camera and I

My friend's new shop at Orchard Central B1 is finally opened yesterday.
