Christmas and my thoughts about the year

Christmas🎄 to me is a sign that the year had come to an end. There are many joyous events that happened this year, along with some sad ones. All events made me feel truly  blessed to have many good friends around giving me support in various ways. Thank you, my friends for being there for me. Your presence made my joyous day more joyful and comfort on sad days. Merry Christmas and a happy new year to come!

Other Interesting things about London

High Tech Toilet The high tech toilet is one of the places that you should experience should you ever visit London. It's pretty common in Italy and London I think. Make sure you try to read all the signs before going in. Open Top Tour Bus Normal Bus I liked the London Cab design, it's pretty cute looking :) Some of them even had special design on them This is the special looking letter box The Phone Booth that reminds me about superman Classic Phone Booth

Holland Village XO Fish Head Bee Hoon @ Chinatown

Before last Sunday, the last time I went there for dinner is probably last year before the renovation as the uncle say until as if it's really going to be their last week of business. I was pretty disappointed to hear about it because that means I will need to go very far to eat the food I like. Thanks to my lunch kaki, I am happy to find out that my favourite XO Sliced Fish Bee Hoon @ Chinatown is actually still open. :D I had the Sliced Fish Bee Hoon and Prawn Ball (虾枣) Dish which is our usual pick at the place.  Well, we both find that their slice fish slices had somehow become bigger since the renovation. It's practically almost the size of the scoop which is meant for scooping soup. The price seems to be still about the same. The amount is not so little as this is the $12 size after we already had ate like 2 bowls of the contents before I took the photo. The prawn ball (aka 虾枣) is of course not so few as well because we ate a few before  took this one haha

Stonehenge @ London Vicinity

Stonehenge is a place near London where we would want to go since we had already taken a flight all the way to London. Missing this out will feel like not visiting the country at all. I really does look like the Microsoft Windows default wallpaper that I had seen. There's only limited number of people that can go into the centre of Stonehenge and only during the period that it's closed to other visitors. Kind of like a private tour package. As the price is on the high side and the timing is either very early or late, we decided not to join it. There's a board which shares on why Stonehenge was built there... This is the slow moving tram to bring us to the exact location where we can have a 360 degrees view of the Stonehenge. We took the bus as our guide recommended it because it'll be much faster. On the way back, we decided to try the tram just for the experience. :) The entry ticket for this one is also a wristband. Haha.. another one of sel

The Roman Baths, London Vicinity

The Roman Baths' entry ticket is by far the most interesting looking entry ticket of my Trip. It's a plastic coin like token which we'd drop into the bowl where the person in charge collects all the tickets from us to grant us entry into the bath. Too bad, I don't get to keep it for sake keeping even though it's really cute but I'd think that it's a good idea as it's certainly more environment friendly than all other entry tickets as this is reusable unlike the rest. This is a photo of the side of the bath building. As usual, I like to take such photos with flying birds as they are like everywhere.. but hard to capture somehow.. This is one of the arch like gate in the bath area. This is probably one of the few people that bask on the streets in London Area. Entry to The Roman Baths This is the only bath where we can actually get this near to it.. Thanks to our friendly guide, we got a picture @ the Bath

Windsor Castle, London Vicinity

The Windsor Castle is very big and grand. Also, it's pretty much surrounded by gardens and plants instead of the water moat which we usually see in those fairy tale cartoons. Train head display Wristband ticket to Windsor Castle Here's us taking photo with the castle. This is one of the flowers in the garden next to the castle. The windows on the most outside wall of the castle is kind of interesting because it's a small narrow cross gap. I tried to look out and couldn't see much. There's also a row of cannon statues at outside of the castle At the more interior part of the castle, there's statues and other stuff. We can't take photos of the actual interior part of the castle though but it's mainly paintings and letters about the queen and king here. Interesting but I can't quite understand the handwriting though. Between the exterior walls of the castle and the inner wall of the actual castle building, t
