Dinner on Vesak Day

Glad to be feeling much better now after being sick for quite a number of days. Just visited the doctor again but I do believed that I'm getting much better :) Finally got the chance to upload the photos that I took before I got sick actually haha..  Ramen Santouka at The Central Firstly, it's Ramen Santouka at The Central. This place is really hiding itself very well at a super uloo corner of The Central #02-76. It's really tough to find that place moving around so many bends and corner and finally I got there. Most importantly, the food is nice. :) Brownice - Here's the article I saw in the newspaper on the 15 May... Brownice - Vegetarian Ice Cream Well, I thought it'd be interesting to find out how it tasted like.. so... I went to the Central. :) I think I bought French Chocolate and Strawberry. Dear prefers Strawberry while I prefer Chocolate. All these are taken on the 17th May (Vesak day). I think, it must have been that after coughing on and

A Weekend @ World Pranic Healers' Convention!

World Pranic Healers' Convention! Attended the World Pranic Healers' Convention last weekend, perhaps it was fate that I ended up there. All thanks to the invitation of my numerology course's master.  I should say that it's pretty interesting to know that we can actually feel the amount of energy that we are transmitting to others if we are angry with them, and we can even feel how much energy they are transmitting to us as well. The surprising part is that, it's really easy to feel that and perhaps that's the only thing that I can feel during the course as I wasn't actually trained to feel energy. Also, we learnt that by letting go and forgiving others which had been taught in some other inspiring courses that I've attended, does help in reducing the density of the energy that we are transmitting out.

Great Dinner Gathering!

That's Lina & the very big bowl of rice!! Had dinner yesterday with my friends after many months of not seeing them. I'm truly amazed and glad to see their turnout rate. I felt blessed and happy to see my friends again after so long. It's  really good to see so many of them showing up for the gathering yesterday. I hope to see them again next month or so. :)

Ice Cream Chefs - Yummy!

Ice Cream Chefs! I love the chocolate with marshmallow mix especially! :D Visited the Ice Cream Chefs @ 520 East Coast Rd about 2 weeks ago and I can still recall the nice crunchy feeling of chewing the tiny marshmallows among the chocolate ice cream. It's interesting to see them mixing the ice cream in front of you.

Häagen-Dazs Ice Cream - Nice!

Häagen-Dazs Ice Cream: Mango & Passion Fruits (left most), Tiramisu (top), and Macadamia Nuts (right most) Found this while browsing my photos. I guess, it's been a long time since I've got enough time to write about the nice food that I've got to eat. Actually also that I've forgotten to bring my favourite camera along with me as well. Among the 3 flavours of the Häagen-Dazs Ice Cream: Mango & Passion Fruits, Tiramisu, and Macadamia Nuts, my favourite is the Macadamia Nuts. As somehow it tasted the best, perhaps because of the ice cream and nuts mixture. After all, I love to eat nuts. :)  Tiramisu is still better off being a standalone dessert eaten in the form of cake dessert. That's why I felt, or perhaps there's no Bailey's in that ice cream mixture. :P

Hope this ends my Alarm Crisis.. LOL!

New Hello Kitty Alarm Clock Got myself the Hello Kitty Alarm Clock on Sunday after missing my handphone alarm again. I suspect the default one malfunction. Unfortunately, the AlarmDroid not loud enough to wake me up when I'm too tired and can't seem to hear my alarm somehow... I hope this alarm can do the job well.. So far it's pretty loud I felt but due to the fact that it's just a manual alarm, I must remember to tune it everyday so that it'll ring. LOL! So hopefully, this will put an end to my Alarm Crisis and as long as I remember to turn it on. By right, I shouldn't miss my alarm as such manual alarm are pretty persistent and very loud. Haha.. I hope 1 is enough. :)

My Melbourne Dinner Companion!

Big Bird - My Main Dinner & Marketing Companion! That's my main dinner companion in Melbourne. Actually, I brought her with me everywhere I go, it's just a happen of whether I put her in sight publicly or not. Although big bird is just a soft toy, in a foreign country, it does help to have a companion / moral support for company. How I wish that there are more people going with me so that at least I've someone live to talk to other than  just making long distance call. :X The only fortunate part is that... It's really a lot cheaper to call Singapore than to call anyone in Melbourne from Melbourne itself.. weird isn't it?

Looking Forward to the General Elections Results!

With the Social Media platform today, the Singapore Elections are now being brought to a greater hype! With Facebook Fan Pages for every Parties and Comments everywhere on almost everyone's wall. It's an event that's simply too exciting to be missed. So much so that I requested to fly back yesterday so that I get to vote today and of course, so that I get to see the results of our General Elections as well! Really looking forward to the results later, especially the 4 most exciting Constituencies - Hougang SMC, Potong Pasir SMC, Bishan - Toa Payoh GRC and Aljunied GRC. I wonder what time will the results be announced? I can't wait to see it!!

The Exciting Morning Cutover!

Life in Melbourne is indeed exciting yet lonely experience...  Exciting -- I woke up early in the morning around 3am or so. Perhaps I'm nervous or probably too excited so much so that I woke up every hour since 12 am thinking -- Is it time yet? Although some of the time, I do doze off during this period and chatted with my bf but it's rather hard to sleep well during this period of time. During the cutover period, we fight with time to resolve various issues highlighted / surfaced during the process. I'm pretty glad that this time round, things went through a lot smoother than the previous time from our side of the system. I worked from around 4am till 5pm and collapsed into bed  a while after I lie down on it after bathing. Luckily, my alarm woke me up for dinner if not probably I might be sleeping till the middle of the night with nothing much to eat at my apartment. Lonely -- there's only my Big Bird Hello Kitty with me for company after parting with my colleagues

Going to Melbourne again....

I'd be on the plane flying towards Melbourne to help out in the preparation and cutting over of our new website. You'd probably see it at our banners soon. While I still have some time while waiting for my flight later at night, I've decided to do a scheduled post. :P I'll be Melbourne again till this Friday so that I can be in Singapore just in time for the General Elections Voting this coming Saturday! It should be an exciting night  (tonight) or should I say early morning (tomorrow) ? Whichever it is.. I hope that all goes well and smoothly. :) Bringing Big Bird Hello Kitty with me.. to keep me company @ Melbourne

Our General Elections & My Comments

Singapore's General Elections only comes about once every 5 years. Interestingly, it's only during this period where there's no parliament that we can see certain things: We will receive GST Offset related Growth Dividend Payout just before the election (thank you for that and it does help) The very crowded rallies from the opposition (even the traffic police are involved just to direct the traffic as traffic lights no longer serve their functions.) The massive supporters from all over Singapore (WP Rally) Promises from various parties on how they aim to improve our lives ( of which, I'm still wondering.. How much of all that actually came true? But perhaps it's just the economic downturn that caused some issues.)   Here's my feelings and comments on the elections:
