Jurassic Park - Senckenberg Museum

I was sorting my pictures when I saw the Dinosaurs photos that I had took while I was as one of the parks near Senckenberg Museum in Frankfurt. It reminds me of the Jurassic Park movie I watched the previous week. I wasn't sure what's the name of the park but I wonder if it's actually called Jurassic Park too haha. Me & Dino This reminds me of the Hero that saved the lead in the Jurassic Park movie.. The Dino with short hands haha..  Here's the vegetarian Dino which is one of the victims that got killed by the monster Dino they created during the movie..  These should be the 2 main Dinos that you actually can take photo with at the park.. As we didn't like to visit museums so we didn't actually went inside the actual museum. But if you are keen, you can check out their site at:  http://www.senckenberg.de/root/index.php?page_id=5256   On Sunday / Public holidays, it's pretty much museums and castles or natural sightseeing places that...

Immortal Movie Preview

Thanks to OMY and with some luck, I'm honored to be given a pair of tickets to yesterday's Immortal 3D Movie preview. I would say that it is indeed an exciting show filled with suspense and surprises. The imaginary arrows from the Epirus Bow is indeed powerful and the end of the show revealed signs that part 2 is on the way. If you enjoyed watching fighting scenes and is interested to find out how well the main hero of the show fights, you might want to watch the 2D version of this show when you have the time. :) Just to take note, the show is   pretty violent as it screened the details of some fights. Lesson learnt: Life can be a choice, there might be premonitions or fate that's controlling it in certain ways but it's your reactions and behaviors to what happens that decide how your life leads to. Here's the Trailer:

Phantom Of The Opera @ Albert Hall - Live Streaming!

After being a member of GV, I hardly read their newsletters until recently that I saw an advertisement on the Phantom of the Opera @ the Albert Hall showing in their 25 years celebration. As it was a GV exclusive event for Singapore, I decided to watch it on the 4th Nov. (Dates avail: 9pm on Fri 4 Nov or Sat 5 Nov) I thought it was some movie with special performance and has a 20 mins interval, which was very strange. To my surprise, it was a live streaming of the performance at the Albert Hall all around the world. I'm so glad that I was one of the participants of the event. With just $25 per head, I get to watch the best view of the play as it was a live presentation by Universal Studio. At the end of the event, its music composer - Andrew Lloyd Webber gave a thank you speech with the Angel of Music (Sarah Brightman) singing again with various Phantoms singing along with her. In total, there are 2 additional live songs. I'm so blessed to a GV member. Also, thanks ...

Transformers: Dark of the Moon

Transformers: Dark of the Moon A very long but nice show on Transformers. Actually, I can't quite recall the female / male lead except for the name Sam. In fact, I only recognise the transformers haha.. Personally, I find Bumblebee cute :D Although he can no longer speak but with the help of radio, he can talk just that it sounds rather funny. What I felt was that it's a show full of suspense, action and excitement bringing my emotions on a roller coaster ride! It's hard to tell which items are robots and which are normal appliances / even cars too.

Gulliver's Travels - Nice Movie!

Watched the Gulliver's Travels today and felt that it's a pretty nice and exciting show to watch. Just that, it's sort of a bit short since it's not even 2 hours long. Probably only about 1.5 hours ba, according to my friend's estimate. Image from: Gullivers Travels Movie 2010 Posters Trailers Review I quite like their fighting part, it's pretty funny I felt. - 4.5 out of 5 stars for that. The story line is quite different and pretty unexpected - 4 out of 5 stars. Interesting level - 4 out of 5 stars. So... If you are thinking about watching it, you should probably just go and watch it! It's nice anyway! I certainly felt that I'm right to have chosen to watch it over Tron haha.. But that's just my point of view thought.

Despicable Me

I've just watched Despicable Me today. I think the 3 children are really very cute, especially "Agnes" the little girl that always clings on the lead's leg. Haha.. In fact I think the action of clinging on the leg is really very cute and funny. There's some part that I do feel a bit like crying 'cos it's quite touching but I managed to hold back my tears. It's just so that my makeup is still intact lol. Effects: 3 Funny: 4.5 Cuteness: 5 Morale of the story: 5 Storyline: 4 I do recommend this movie to you if you like cute stuff and animation haha..

Shrek - Forever After

Well, after watching so many Shrek animations, I've decided that to give it the following ratings: from the scale of (worst) 1 - 5 (best) Storyline - 2 Morale behind story - 5 Cuteness of new Puss in boots - 5 (yes.. he's so cute haha.) Excitement of show - 4 Will I watch it again? Of course not. Why should I? And most important of all, I've never watched any show more than once in the cinemas anyway. :P

Iron Man 2

Woke up today at 1.30pm 'cos my friend called me to ask if I want to go and watch movie lol. Was supposed to wake up earlier but in the end, I didn't. Anyway, I feel that I really need to do something about it le. Really need to wake up much earlier if not it's really not a good thing. Haiz. So in the end, I ended up in Suntec around 3pm lol. And realised that it's a Public Holiday (Labour Day) so ermm. the cinema is SO packed, and ended up sitting at the 2nd row seats. But then nvm la, the tickets is from the gift card from a very long time ago. I just remember that I had it somewhere in my drawer. And finally used it loh. So thanks to Std Chart that sponsored the movie. haha. Iron Man 2 is a nice show as well. I like his house and the computer system. If I can have a house next time, ermm a bigger one of course and if money is no longer a problem. I would love to have that kind of system. Imagine, voice activated system, you use ur voice to on the lights, ur comp ...

Ip Man 2

The only not so blessed thing is that my friend that was supposed to meet me to go Bras Basah Complex today didn't wake up on time, so I need to wait loh. And in the end, we went to watch Ip Man 2 instead before going to Bras Basah Complex. The good thing is that.. Ip Man 2 is a nice show. If got time, you all should go and watch as well. Especially those ppl that likes fighting shows. It sounds strange but then.. I like the way they fight during the show 'cos quite interesting and exciting especially when there's group fight and during those competition like fights.. In a way, certain parts is also quite funny. So it's again.. yet another show that I watched the 2nd part and not the 1st part haha.. After the show, we didn't managed to find what we want at the price we want so we didn't buy anything.

3D Avatar

Watched 3D Avatar today for christmas celebration with my company. It's really nice to watch it 3D haha.. but I regretted not wearing contacts instead 'cos the 3D specs contradicts with my specs and keep falling to an extend that obstructs my breathing lol.. But I still enjoyed the show a lot 'cos the people are like just in front of us. Somemore it's action movie so even nicer haha.. And this is one show that Aliens are better than humans haha..

Movie on thurs.

Well, went to the cathay to watch a movie with my friend since she got free ticket so ask me go along loh.. The movie was very very violent, about world war 2, heng it's free haha.. 'cos if not I think neither of us 2 will go and watch such movie ba. Imagine the head cut off and printing cravings on the forehead as a mark of identity for the enemy forces that they decided not to kill. It somehow reminds me a little of the show hills have eyes. Anyway, at least it's a catch up with my friend. My present acquisition assignment was a success, thank you. Just that I forgot about the card nia, so I got it from 7-eleven haha.. Not that la the 7-eleven at the cathay, the cards got wider choices. Hmm, I shall go and swim tml morning instead of the run 'cos.. I've really not ran for such a long time haha.. I treasure my life and my sleeping time lol.. I shall give my colleagues moral support in my dreams then. Good luck. haha.. Ok time to sleep le.

G-Force

Watched G-Force at AMK hub today. It's been a very long time since I last watch any movie. LOL. I think the Animation is nice. The guinea pig looks pretty real. The one I like most is the lead that looks like a hamster haha.. So cute. But the show is quite short... nearly 1.5 hrs nia.

Christmas Party & Bolt

Had a hearty lunch together with dinner @ Sakura International Buffet (YCK) for our Company Christmas Party. Food is as good as usual haha. Ate from 2.30pm to ermm 5pm lol.  Then I went to Orchard to watch Bolt with my sec friend. I think the show is very nice and touching. I  actually watched until I feel like crying inside the Cinema. The dog is a cute and brave one. Of which, it can even hear the girl screaming for help in a fire and went to save her. That part is super touching loh, I think. Anyway, I love animations :P
