An MLM's Warehouse

In the evening, we headed towards Paya Lebar to meet our other friends. 'cos we still got time before the appointment so we ended up at Melaleuca's "Supermarket". It looks something like Amway's warehouse ba. Just that in this case it's the "Business Owners" taking the products themselves and going to the counter to pay for it and in Amway's case is the people at the warehouse packing the products and giving it to the "Business Owners". But I do think that actually, the former's way is a bit more efficient than the latter 'cos they outsourced the packing part to the end consumer so the queue is somehow much shorter. Especially so 'cos they have 3 warehouse instead of just 1 ba, I guess.

Ip Man 2

The only not so blessed thing is that my friend that was supposed to meet me to go Bras Basah Complex today didn't wake up on time, so I need to wait loh. And in the end, we went to watch Ip Man 2 instead before going to Bras Basah Complex. The good thing is that.. Ip Man 2 is a nice show. If got time, you all should go and watch as well. Especially those ppl that likes fighting shows. It sounds strange but then.. I like the way they fight during the show 'cos quite interesting and exciting especially when there's group fight and during those competition like fights.. In a way, certain parts is also quite funny. So it's again.. yet another show that I watched the 2nd part and not the 1st part haha.. After the show, we didn't managed to find what we want at the price we want so we didn't buy anything.

BWL AGM

Went for BWL's AGM this morning. It's quite fun and interesting especially with the things I see during the event itself as well as 'cos my mentors ask them those tough questions. I like the Chairman and Group CEO for their friendliness and 'cos they are good sales person. I personally like the way their Chairman does the business. Also, I would like to thank the company for my lunch and the food sample door gift today. Thanks.. Then, I would like to thank my mentors for giving me a ride to Outram MRT station. I feel quite blessed today. :-)

NAC last day

Well, we didn't win the iPad in the end, but I think it's quite cute. Haha, see how ba. At least I shouldn't be buying it anytime soon. I've also signed up for a internet marketing program with some other friends. And the only thing I can do is to make everything work out. At least it has to. And I've got a tee from Shaun Stenning, actually it's the one he's wearing that day lol. And it's autographed by the brother. Somehow, I really think that I'm quite mad to take that tee ba. And I shall wash the tee if not hor, it confirm stink one loh, which will become very er xin when that happens. I still wonders if that tee still have market value after I've washed it haha.

NAC Photos

Here's the photos we took with Robert G Allen during the 2nd day of the National Achiever's Congress @ Expo.

NAC day 2

Today's Tony Blaire's speech at the NAC. The things he shared with us is pretty useful and meaningful and most importantly, he's here just to share with us and not to sell us anything at all. That's what I liked about him ba. Just that I didn't managed to stay awake throughout the session. Opps. Then around lunch time, some of us decided to skip the rest of the Congress and I went lunch with 2 other friends that's not sitting with me at the NAC. And got some useful offers for things I can do in future. So I guess, sometimes, it's good ba. At least I have much less things to worry le. Things will just happen and I believe that I'll be able to survive well even without a full time job ba. At least after taking up the Robert G Allen's course 'cos he says he wants to help ppl learn how to become successful by beginning of next year, u know 1 Jan 2011. So I just sign up yesterday since, I think it should be fate, I should just grab the chance ba.

National Achievers Congress 2010

Today's main attraction speaker should be Robert G. Allen ba. Somehow, the way he present is so good that, ermm many of us ended up signing up for his course. And so far, his course is really the most value for money in my point of view. There's 2 course, 1 in KL and 1 in Singapore. And he mentioned that we can go for both so I think I'll just go for both ba LOL.. Since I already signed up so might as well go loh.. Today is only the 1st day and I've already ended up signing up for 1 course liao. But nvm la, I believe, it's worth my money. So.. in the end, almost all my weekend for the entire May is filled by his courses and other courses liao.

Didn't wake up on time..

Was supposed to wake up early today and go and run but then ermm.. somehow or rather I feel lazy and didn't do it.. In the end, I still didn't wake up that early enough to go and run. I seriously need to do something about it and this cannot continue.. If not I'll have problem sooner or later. I need more discipline and motivation. Still looking for it..

Lots of Food Day!

Met up with my good friend that I've not seen for a very long time. We had a very fulfilling lunch together at Swensen's. My favourite pasta, some fries and Banana Split for me haha.. But I seriously think that I ate too much food le. 'cos was so full that I ate so little for dinner LOL!! I still would like to thank my friend for the lunch even though I doubt he'll read my blog. Thank you!! Had a small slice of cheese cake at around 5pm. Then some sausage, fries and a bit of steak for dinner. Most of the food in my plate wasn't eaten by me 'cos I was really so not hungry. Overall, I felt very blessed today for all the food that I got to eat and the numerology practice that I've got today slightly before dinner!

Numerology Class

Went for an interesting Numerology Class today at around Red Hill area. I love the class so much that I ended up signing up for the advanced course hahaha.. But the person says that there's so much pre-installed for us. However, it's actually up to us to believe it or not. Also, whichever being calculated has to be worked on so that the good part will become better and the bad parts are there so that we can improve / prevent it and change our life so that at least it won't be that bad. As for me, there are quite a number of things that I need to change and prevent from happening. And you know, after I did a calculation for me and my ex, I come to realised that it's great that we became each other's ex 'cos it's was never meant to be anyway. There aren't even any sign of affinity in our combined reading. LOL.. But for me today, I hope that life is better for him anyway. At least, I think it should be better without me.

The too free day of my life..

The most comical thing that happened today is that part about visiting the wrong type of chinese physician. It's almost like visiting 跌打医生 for normal flu and things like that haha.. So I gave up and decided not to go le. Ended up in S11 AMK eating lamb chop, was thinking of asking to see if my ex-colleagues wants to join me but then again I'm so last min and need to go else where soon after that so I decided to eat alone suan le. Then I visited Sungei Road with my friend and Bugis area then loitered around Suntec till I meet my other friends for dinner. Somehow, my friends all ended up late lol.. earliest is ermm 30 mins, latest is 1hr. Maybe it's the universe trying to train my patience further ba I guess.. So nvm loh. But then my friend that tried to predict the other friends' clothes almost got all the predictions wrong, only 1 shirt was the right color nia ba. Quite funny actually.

Jobless Day 1

Earned my 1st $100 for closing 2 people at my mentors' course the preview. Was still wondering if it's luck or skill. But then in such environment, the usual me that always didn't close anything at all is probably not thinking or doing it the right way I guess. But still, it's just a practice ground ba, 'cos I'm just helping out nia. I need to buck up and finish up my stuff so that things will get going.. I dun really have that much fund to waste after all.. But most importantly, if I waste time, or keep postponing, I'm sure I won't get anywhere. So I need to jia you more..

Finally completed clearance

After a tiring day yesterday, and going back today to finish up things due to unexpected circumstances, it's finally settled. And i can finally put down that rock in my arms and look forward to a brighter and more care free tomorrow. At last, i can do things i wanted to with less worries. Whichever the case, i pray for a better tomorrow every day for the rest of my life. The same goes to all my friends and loved ones as well. I'm blessed and today starts great!

Back In Singapore

I'm finally back in Singapore again. Mixed feelings about touring for so long, there's both joy and sadness about coming back. Joy 'cos I missed my bed, my friend and my family. But sad 'cos I toured so much that I don't feel like doing anything at all haha.. But I still need to come back anyway. Bought quite a lot of bags I think.. 4 just for myself! Also, I would like to thank my friend for helping me with the luggage and the other friend for paying the cab fare 1st.

Marriott Hotel Facilities

For today, it's more of a enjoy the facilities at Marriott Hotel day, as we all went to the gym, then I went for a swim after a while, since it's next to the gym and I love swimming. We are like hanging around that area for several hours. After which, we went to MBK shopping center I think. Bought some stuff along the way for souvenir. So it's more of a rest and relax day.

Bangkok Day 2

We actually went to the red shirt protest area in Siam Station to take a look at what's going on then also took photos with them for souvenir. It's quite mad but then since we are there, that's the biggest attraction in Bangkok ma.. Especially after they forced most the shopping centers to closed down.

Bangkok Day 1

We almost didn't make it for our flight to Bangkok as we are quite late for our Nepal internal flight back to Kathmandu. We are quite blessed so the problem managed to get resolved. Almost the entire day, we are on plane and we only reached Bangkok around 10pm at night. Marriott Hotel's Apartment is quite a nice place to stay in as the bed is nice & comfy, the view is good, the place is to clean. It's like heaven esp. after I've just came back from places like Nepal! The service is good as well as we can order food from certain nearby eateries with no service charge, so they just charge you for the food itself. And the food is quite nice, 500 Baht for 3 ppl's food, which is about $7 / person. not bad ba. The food is nice anyway.

Tokche

Today we climbed Mount Tokuche and took photo with the Yaks. It's really a challenge 'cos unlike the singapore hills, where there's steps for us to climb, this mountain is just purely mountainous road, u know those sand roads and cliffs, some cliffs are quite scary haha.. especially, when u look down, it's just the very very steep cliff and u need to just walk along the small narrow path to the other side. Sometimes, we step on the plants just to go up the place. Eventually, when we reached the top of the mountain, we saw eagles below us and other smaller mountain but of course there are also other higher mountains. The thing is that after we are there and we took photos, we decided not to climb further and go to the village 'cos we are just too tired to go especially the only 3 singaporeans climbing that mountain haha. Our Nepal friends climbed like there's really no kick, they are totally not tired and very lively. I really admire their fitness level. For me,

Nepal Day 5

About the mountain syndrome, fortunately, only one of my friends vomited in the middle of last night. On the way down the mountain, back to Jomsom, I fell down the horse 'cos that horse was running down a slope that I find quite steep and was scared so I just rowed out of the horse somehow.. The lucky part is that I merely had a bruise (blue black) only on my right knee. Other than that, I'm pretty much ok. But I was quite traumatized that the horse man decided to pull my horse along while we go down the hill. But that's only for half the way down ba. The rest of the distance, we decided to take a jeep down haha. Well the jeep although bumpy, but it's so much faster than the horse ride. Now I'm wondering, why did we take the horse initially? Isn't it better if the entire ride is the jeep. But that if it's all the way jeep, then maybe it won't be that fun 'cos we won't get the experience horse ridding then.

Horse Ridding

We took the plane to Mustang, Jomsom in the morning and bid goodbye to my mentor's son. 'cos he left for home much earlier than all of us. Then we left our main luggage in the Jomson Hotel for care taking and took horses to Multinak and almost didn't get a hotel to stay in. So the lesson learnt here is that we really need to book the hotel in advance so that such things won't happen but luckily, we did got a hotel in the end but just a pretty low grade one but at least better than nothing ba. But 'cos it's the mountain / hill but their hill unlike ours is really very high. Some of my friends experience the mountain syndrome, like headaches, etc.

Nepal Day 3

We went around Pokhara having lunch at a Japanese Restaurant. I think that's one of the nicest restaurant around le ba. Then we are at Fewa Park Restaurant drinking some drinks. I forgot what I ordered le haha.. But doesn't matter. I liked that place 'cos it really looks nice. It's like some grand dream land sort of place in that area. At least that's what I felt. Then we went to one of our Nepal friend's house to talk to his mother. It's interesting to hear how my mentor sell the business idea to his mother and it's really enlightening.

Nepal Day 2

Tour around the area while getting our trekking pass done and bought tickets to Jomsom as well as the return ticket to Kathmandu. Visited my friend's house and source for gloves and stationaries around the area that we are donating to the kids in the school at Touche, near Jomsom. Actually, it's really pretty ex to go trekking in the area 'cos it cost like 2.5K Nepal money just for the trekking pass and permit. And applying for the permit as well as getting the tickets really take such a long time.. That's why it's a country where patience is very important.

Nepal Day 1

Reached Kathmandu, Nepal around afternoon (1.30pm or so), transit at Bangkok and bought 1 x cosmetic at Changi Airport Duty Free. Then our friend's friend (guide at Nepal) pass us the Yeti air tickets to Pokhara, of which our flight is around 3+pm. Our guide took us to eat Mo Mo at one of the restaurant nearby and helped us get free cab to the airport for our flight. Thanks. By the time we reached Pokhara, it's already evening le. We checked in to our hotel at Hotel Billabong Garden. Quite ok ba, got bed, toilet and tv. Just that, it's a pretty weird place 'cos hor.. the electricity got problem, every 6 hours no power then 3 hours got power. And it continues... I received flowers and welcome banner at the hotel. Took Photos for tracking pass and other stuff for trekking to Mustang, Muktinath. 'cos Tourist ma, got more permit to apply haha.. What to do? Things to take note are: 1. Please bring at least 2 passport photos as well as USD25 per person for the entry

Back to Singapore

Had our breakfast at Hungry Jack then bought lots of Easter eggs from the post Easter sales haha.. So sorry my friends, you'll get Easter Eggs for souvenirs cum farewell gift ba. :P Have some other chocolates and stuff as well so not so bad I guess. Then at around 3pm, I'm on the flight and back to Singapore!! Tml will be flying to Nepal le. So I guess the next time I update this blog will be on the day I reach Singapore ba. Around 2 weeks time. :P See you all around then..

Great Ocean Road

Hmm.. we finally made it for Great Ocean Road and I would like to thanks Gray Line for giving us a chance to change our tour package although we missed it yesterday and yet they changed it to today for us at no additional cost. Thank you so much!! The next time I go aussie and if I'm taking day tour again, I'll certainly go back to them. 'cos of their friendly customer service provided throughout the tour as well as their hotline. The only thing is that the entire trip is just to admire scenery and stones / rocks which ermm actually, I can't really appreciate that much. The scenery still ok but then stones part I'm not that into it ba.

Queen Victoria Market

Well, we didn't wake up on time 'cos none of our alarm clock rings, the worse part is.. actually my bio clock is functioning just that I didn't know I'm right and didn't wake any one of them up then I just wake up look at the clock then doze off haha.. So in the end, we missed Great Ocean Road again!!! (2nd time le btw) In the end, we went Queen Victoria Market for shopping and Habour Town as well.. Sounds like all cities in Aussie has Habour Town Shopping Center. But I've only got some moisturizers and 2 long sleeve tees.

Phillip Island

We went for the Puffing Billy and Phillip Island day tour instead of Great Ocean Road 'cos we forgot to book the day tour for it. And the happy thing is that we've managed to get the 20% discount from grayline. from the voucher we got from the previous day tour receipt. Sounds great! We are so happy about it that we also got the Great Ocean Road tickets from them. Enjoyed the Puffing Billy trip and it's pretty exciting sitting on the side of the train with our legs outside the train... But I'm the only one doing it among the 3 of us. It should be more fun if all of us can sit this way. :D For the phillip island trip, the penguins are cute, it's the 1st time I saw them live and flying around. Now I knew that actually penguins do fly haha.. Just that they are really so far away, and we can't take photo 'cos we will scare them if we use flash and if dun use, can't see at all. Only managed to see 1 penguin nearby almost dancing for us. But overall, I still

Melbourne Day 1

Took this morning's flight to Melbourne and we went bridge road and DFO for shopping haha. Bought a brown cap and black bag from Esprit at bridge road. I think the cap is a bargain ba 'cos it's only around AUD $7 so should be around < S$10 ba. In Singapore, I remember seeing similar stuff but different color at $39. But then I still regretted not getting the white cap but maybe I dun have that much fate with that cap ba I guess. At DFO, I've got myself 2 x leggings and 1 laundry bag as well as 1 hair band like accessories and a bracelet. The shop that sells female accessories is really low priced ba I guess. Most of the items are not that expensive. I found a leather glove for around AUD$20 but 'cos there's this ribbon which I dun really like so I didn't get it.
