Restarting My Exercising Plan!

Finally, I went for a short run yesterday after not really running regularly for quite some time. Unfortunately, my running plan for tomorrow had been rescheduled again. Have decided that I shall exercise at least twice a week so that means, I should run during the weekend morning, in order to clock that  2 times of exercise per week. :) Or maybe I should just go for a swim or something. I probably can't run like 5km now but I'm targeting to be able to run 5km in 40mins in 3 months time. I'd probably only be able to run like 2km in 30mins or maybe less than that now. Just wanted to be much fitter than now.

A Walk @ Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve

Had a 2 hours plus walk yesterday morning at the Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve . After a very long time of not really exercising regularly, it's really pretty tiring to walk for that long but still, it's pretty fun I felt. It's a pity that the type of camera I'm really looking for is really still not invented yet so.. What I've got is more of blur pictures. LOL!! The Maze looking Map...

Running again..

Went home directly today, brought my new yoga mat and the chinese new year oranges from my company home. 'cos one of my friends canceled our appointment for today. The good thing is.. I went jogging again. Managed to run like hmm 2.5 rounds and walked 0.5 rounds so quite ok ba I guess. I find my friend quite funny 'cos he actually apologised to me for things that's not even his fault ma. Well, this action, I wonder, what the diff of this as compared to when I said sorry to the mannequin when I accidentally knocked it's hand. Dunno leh, I personally dun see too much of a diff after all. Somemore, he asked me not to keep appologising for things that's not my fault. Like what if the mannequin tells me "it's ok" then how? Still have things to settle ba I guess. Still wondering when will I ever get to ermm take a break from all these. I'm starting to look forward to my Australia trip ba. Forward Yoga

Well, after attending the forward yoga session this morning, I really felt that it's pretty much of a workout and I sweat a lot more than what I used to when I went for the yoga sessions at CC or even gyms. Also, the event is supposed to have quite a number of people but all pulled out except 2, and I'm one of the 2. At least I've a great workout haha. Need to locate my yoga mat so that I can do Yoga myself at home ba. I'm starting to like yoga again or at least I shall exercise more so that I'm more energetic and less tired. From today's shopping when I went out this afternoon, I bought a new dress @ $28. :D I think it's quite cheap ba, given that it was bought along city link mall. And the entire shop was on SALE, everything is $28! It's called Ztyle. This is actually the 1st time that I noticed the presence of that shop. Then I also bought 2 books to read and almost done with one of them.

Forward Yoga Weekend Event

Well, after going through the course to understand myself more last week, I shall implement the way of giving. Haha.. I shall donate more money than I usually do. For the time being, I shall start with the donation of $150 haha.. To help that earthquake place via the Yoga Event through Red Cross. Since I'm going there then might as well ba. So no need to go red cross specifically and donate, save my time and a trip haha.. Hopefully, my family will never come to know about it so that no one complains about it lol. I can't believe this.. In the end, everything also cannot tell them. For that amount, I'm still pretty comfortable with it ba. My dream is to be able to donate money to the needy without any heartache at all. Hopefully, my money will be able to help those people ba. At least, I've tried my best to put in my tiny effort in giving them a helping hand le. Plus, I get to do Yoga once again haha. Not bad ba. Kill 2 birds with 1 stone.

Running Mission Completed

Finally, I've completed my running mission for today. At least I did run and didn't ended up doing something else haha.. Well, but then my target was supposed to be running 3 rounds around my house area but ended up walking half of it haha.. Need to brush up on my stamina a bit more so that I don't feel so tired easily. I'll prefer to be as fit and healthy as before.

Running Tonight??

Well, I've planned to go running tonight haha.. But I wonder if I'll be able to complete the running process or ended up going home to eat and rest and stuff like that or not. But still, whatever it is, I really wanted to run. So I must start to imagine myself running later. Imagine that the weather is great and windy, prefect for running. And I shall get to run!!

Swimming that Got cancelled.

Well, we are supposed to go swimming tonight but then ermm.. In the end, due to forgot to bring some items, we just ended up eating @ KFC haha.. and Shopping @ Daiso LOL.. It's again the, we claimed that we wanted to go and exercise but ended up shopping. Now it has been postponed to friday instead. Hope that I do get to swim. :D All along I thought that in life, appointments should be made on a 1st come 1st serve basis. But now I've come to realise that sometimes, it can also be based on priority basis. Some ppl are just meant to skip the queue when it comes to such things.

Roasted Human!!

Ya, after forgetting to apply sun block and being lazy by applying only to my shoulders, now, I felt like a roasted human haha.. Sun burnt!! The lesson learnt is that next time, I must be more hardworking in such things in order not to end up in agony. The painless experience is priceless!! Then, another sad thing that happened is that my knee hurts quite a bit when the entire hiking event is about to finished. haha.. In the end, I was almost limping back ba. Hopefully, it'll be fine tomorrow. The ROM ceremony I went to tonight is pretty dark actually, but I think the overall event is interesting. The speech is great, that of the JP and the couple! It's the 1st time I've heard a entirely chinese ROM. With the JP giving interesting ideas of Buddhism that's I've never heard of in my entire life. Now that I know actually in Buddhism, the idea of financial planning is being taught, I'm pretty amazed by it!!

ST Run..

The book I've read today says that for ever bad / unfortunate event that happened, there's always something better that is bound to happen. And come to think of it, it's really true. I really want run the standard chartered marathon. At least, if I can't run now, at least I can still swim, although my foot still feel a little strange at times, but at least it's now getting better. I've some friends that said why do you have to run all the time. Do you really like running so much? actually, yes, I think I do love to run marathons a lot. 'cos during that period in time, I felt very carefree, there's only one thing in my mind and that's to finish the run. Every water point is an encouragement to continue running further and every step brings me to the destination. Perhaps that's really the only time in my life that I've 100% control over what I'm doing and what I want to do and no one will stop me from doing it. That's why I love that ...

Swimming..

Went swimming in the afternoon today. Find it nice to have the entire pool to myself haha.. 'cos the NYP pool got only me swimming at that time. At 1st there's 1 more person that left not long after I got into the pool so 80% of the 30 - 40 mins that I was there, there's only me haha.. I think that's the only pool that will have such incident happening ba. The rest of the ppl there are either in the shade chatting or sun tanning on th chair. But then maybe 'cos it's the 7th mth ba.. But I only realised that after I got into the pool so nvm ba.. After all, it's bright day time and I didn't hurt anyone so should be ok de ba. So far I only managed to swim about 250m ba haha.. cannot make it wo.. I think I rested so long that my muscle is really weak. Need to buck up and swim more ba.. since that's the only activity that's safe to do now. I think once I'm able to swim like what I can before around 1.5Km in 45 mins should be ok le. But I've no...

Std Chart Run

Wanted to wake up much earlier 'cos our company is taking photo before the run. Supposed to reach at 7.45am. But I was a bit cannot make it so only managed to reach at 8am haha.. at least this time run, I won't be late for the run ba. I think at the last 2Km of the run, I feel that it's pretty much of a scam. 'cos hor.. the 1st 5km at least when i see the 5km mark, it seems like it's so fast halfway through le.. then the last 2km, it's was like so long loh. When I see the 42Km mark, it says 195m more to go. After I finally saw the finishing line, I just ran through it and was very glad that it's finally over haha.. Most of my friends thought that the last 2Km was super long for some unknown reason.. Maybe it's actually not just 2km after all.. Went back to work and had steamboat dinner at the punggol area. Run for Hope

Took cab there with my friends and took one back lol.. I thought there will be lots of ppl at the beach but wasn't as many as I expected. Only saw a few pets haha.. on the way there, saw a long car queue towards carpark F2 so the taxi uncle dropped us along the expressway so that we no need to walk too far haha. 1st time in my life dropped at expressway loh. That cab uncle super friendly, chat with us all the way and recommended pig's trot for lunch but then of course it's still early after the run so didn't get to eat maybe next time ba. Didn't really have that much ppl at the run so managed to see my collegues before the run. hmm.. no pics taken :P
