Weekend Trip to KL

Went to KL over the weekend and it's really a lot of cars at both the woodlands and 2nd link checkpoint. The 2nd link checkpoint also jam for like 2 hours.. :X I think the 3 star Hotel Sentral seems pretty good for a 3 star standard 'cos from the inside, it looks pretty nice. Maybe because it's new ba. Went shopping at Times Square and Sungei Wang. Perhaps Sungei Wang is a better place to shop I felt. The watching movie experience at Times Square suggested that... Singapore's Cinema got way better standard that's why it cost more. Even our most cmi cinema seems better ba. On the way back, we dropped by Melaka to walk around to avoid the jam. Well, it does works as the road is really cleared. I guess that's why we are called Singaporeans. :P Melaka is really a beautiful place although we only found 1 place which is near the Melaka Mall. Even the street lights are nicer

IKEA Meat Balls & Other Nice Food! :D

The really very long queue @ IKEA After overcoming the long queue and found some table sharing seats, we finally got to eat my favourite IKEA meat balls, with the nice sauce. :D The Organic Muffin & Pasta as well as the chicken wings are not bad too. Nice Food @ IKEA

A Walk @ Telok Blangah Hill Park

Here we are at the Telok Blangah Hill Park Say Cheese! Didn't know how we ended up at the Telok Blangah Hill Park. Since we are up there, I've decided to take some photos and test out the various tips that I've learnt at the URA Photography Workshop . :P Such as making the sky more blue, creating a front or back focus point effect etc. It's quite fun!

URA Photography Workshop - Our Fave Spots: City Life

URA City Map Tour, A Guide to our City! Whether you are a Singaporean / Tourist, it's probably an interesting place to visit when you can afford the time. At URA, you'll find out more about the interesting places you can visit. Attended the URA Photography Workshop on Singapore's City last Saturday. It's actually a competition over a period of 1 month, however, I'm overaged so can't join in the fun. But still, I can take photos at my own leisure time and post it up. It's the fun that counts, not the prize that matters. :P Most importantly, I've took back quite a few tips to take more interesting photos.. But those photos won't be uploaded today, due to time constraints.

MJ Session Last Fri :D

Had Half a Great MJ Session last fri. :D Last friday, we had a fun dry swimming session at Deb's house. For me, it's half a session, 'cos I played half, API support played the other half. :P Amazingly, we won enough to almost cover the parking fee. But of course, parking wasn't as expensive as what we predicted it to be :)  Perhaps my favourite Bailey's does help. Anyway, I didn't drink a lot. It's just 1 cup only and with ice of course. (Yup, 1 x MacDonald's cup) Opps...

Wonderfull - Marina Bay Sands' Musical Fountain

Went to Marina Bay Sands (MBS) to watch the Wonder Full Musical Fountain performance last Sunday as well.  Was really very busy these few weeks with my work that's why these only got uploaded today :X Back to the topic... It's pretty interesting and certainly a must watch! Imagine the performance of lights, water, fire and music together all in 1 show. And... It's FREE! So we don't have to pay for the show. Here's some of the shots taken at the Wonderfull performance

The Rubbish Dump that Caught Fire!!

On my way to lunch on last Sunday noon, I walked past this block. I was wondering why is there a fire engine near Sengkang's Koufu until I gave it a closer look! To my surprise, the rubbish chute caught fire and it's really very hard to put out the fire, I felt. I wonder who lighted up the rubbish chute... Can't really see the fire due to my camera and the angle I guess.. That's why we saw this remains after the fire had been put out! I guess, perhaps it's not part of their jobscope to tidy up the area.

Singapore DUCKtours - A Tourist Like Experience

My First DUCKtours Ride from Suntec City :) Went for a DUCKtour Ride around late afternoon on Saturday. To our surprise, Singapore get 30% discount off price of the ride on weekends and 40% discount if it's weekdays. :) Which is a pretty good discount amount that we've got, from $33 to $23.10. I'm glad that I'm a Singaporean.

Busy with lots of work...

Had been really busy with lots of work to finish up before the tight deadlines. I hope that everything can be finished on time and things will go well. :D Before that happens, I guess... this will probably be the last post of the week. :X

Founder Bak Kut Teh Restaurant - Nice!

Founder Bak Kut Teh Restaurant - 347 Balestier Road Had a great dinner with delicious Bak Kut Teh! Overall the food is good and so is the company. For once, the soup isn't that spicy, which is what I really like about the soup! The customer service is not bad as the person actually went around topping up people's bowl! WoW!
