Lesson from a Haircut

Actually, I just got my haircut today, from the usual hair stylist and came to understand that... My hair stylist did a Great job today, although it's a similar hairstyle but today I felt that he cut with more love and passion. Just because, I told him that, "Actually all I need is a bob hairstyle that's easy to manage, just cut it the way that you think it'll look best!" After which, he seems pretty happy and tell me that the usual style is that he cut the last 2 time is the best, he can't promise that it'll look the same but he'll do his best. 'cos he's not a robot so not everytime will look the same. But somehow, I just felt that this time, it looks much better than the 1st 2 haircuts although it's similar but it just has a more "alive" feeling I felt... So the conclusion is that, everyone in their own expertise can do a much better job if they hear want they like to hear. Lead them to what you want them to do, but don'

Great Weekend @ MMI (Millionaire Mind Intensive)

I'm simply amazed by T. Harv Eker's selling skill! Imagine... whenever he is the one selling, the results was really fantastic, looking at the number of people that walks to the booth. Can you believe that even before he stated the actual price, they are there crowding around the booth lol. I really admire his skills. When it's Adam selling as what happened on the first day, the result and feeling is just different. Perhaps you may say that I over analyzed but as what most low cost seminars are meant for, it's just a preview to many other courses, the full set of courses are also known as the "Quantum Leap". They really value add to our lives a lot! They even gave us a card with the declarations and a 90 days workbook at the end of the program! The overall sessions are very motivating but I like T. Harv's presentation more :P The tasks that he got us to do is really for our own good, and he even bother to explain to us why we need to do that. The entire

MMI Day 1

As I'm blessed with a VIP ticket, I attended MMI ( Millionaire Mind Intensive ) program today. I'll also be attending the event on both tomorrow and Sunday. Although most of the contents are in 1 way or another being covered during some of Executive Direction 's programs, I still learned some things. The truth is that, when I first attended Wendy & Jerome's program, it's actually a lot more interesting than this one. Some of the declarations sounds rather similar to Ken & Clive's program as well. So sometimes, I'll confused and cheer with "I'm a Millionaire Investor" instead of "You have a Millionaire Mind". LOL! It's good to be able to understand more about myself internally and the root cause of our money concepts. By understanding that, then it'll be easier to correct the issue(s), if any. In fact, one of the main reasons why I'm there is because I want to see how they upsell things. As I've heard about

Glad that WIN WIN Networking Event is a Success!

I'm glad to have added value to people's life tonight through the sharing to the networking tips and hosting of the event! The participants seem to be having a great time listening to our sharing session and especially so during the networking session. It's actually quite tough to get them seated and continue listening to the sharing session. But thanks to the rest of the committee team, we manage to do it. As the entire event was conducted without a mic, I'm very happy that they can hear me although I'm running low on my voice towards the end of the event. Even though I'm actually quite nervous and missed out some lines, the overall event was a success since no one really knew what I left out. I guess the music stand helps. I felt that it'll be even better for me if the notes is just in a point form so that I can just read and elaborate from there. Since, I wasn't exactly following the entire script  after I felt more comfortable during the session oth

Kind Soul @ Borders

I'm blessed to have met a kind soul in borders that gave me his seat when he was about to leave the area, just 'cos he saw me sitting on the floor. Haha.  Didn't catch much sleep today as I slept quite late last night, while trying to rush out my stuff, and there's an early morning meeting today. But at least, I've got to rest a bit, sitting down and thinking through my future plans. Now having some food at McDonald's and updating my blog.  Looking forward to tonight's networking event in which for the 1st time, I'm part of the committee in organizing an event, almost from scratch. Doing the logo design, tee shirt design and ticket design. Then being the MC of today but I still haven't really practice much. After going through once yesterday, reading from script, I really need to pray for everything to go as smoothly as yesterday. For once, I'm able to speak in a confident and fearless manner yesterday but with more people today, I can't be

Enlightening Walking Class!

Had my walking training lesson and finally understood why is it that ppl can tell it's me walking into a room from my footstep. It's just due to wrong walking technique. After the lesson, I've learnt how to walk with a lot less noise and how to be more stable when walking in high heels. Glad that I've met Vanessa so that I can then correct my own walking method over time, probably won't trip or fall that easily next time. :P Vanessa, thanks a lot for your patience and guidance.

Hi ROI on my Ice Milo

I'm blessed to have got quite a high return on my Ice Milo investment I've made today, with my group of friends after our meeting.

Added & Received Massive Value @ PIP this Weekend!

Was there to help out this weekend to support the participants and received massive values from our speakers, and other participants. I'm blessed to have met many old friends and met some new ones! I like the new live feed layout that they have used to deliver the program to around 400 participants! As it makes us feel much closer to the stage and be able to see the text that they write clearer as well, thanks to the live video feed! Also, I like the new Legal Advisor, whom I've met earlier at BNI - Abundance. He much more interesting and adds lots of values to us. I love his stories and jokes! Thanks, Ting Fai for being there! Also, there are much more sharing from Wendy and Jerome for this Property Investment Program . In fact, I like it better this way, as their sharing is the most value adding portion of the session. It's good that they have asked for more feedback from the participants via the feedback form so that the program can improve and become better along the

Inspired to Improve my Blogging Skills!

After guiding one of my mentors on how to set up and use a blog, I felt quite inspired by the way he intends to run it. I shall read up more things about how to blog effectively and improve my readership. After blogging for years, so far I only have like 2-5% of my facebook friends actually visiting my blog and read more. I felt that other than having the necessary technical skills, there should be something else that I'm lacking that's why it hasn't been able to work out yet. As long as I persisted and continue to improve, I believe that one day, I should be able to make things work better for me. There's still think nice looking retweet and like feature that I like but have yet to figure out how to create it. Anyway, other than that, I still got many other stuff I need to do. I'm now looking at how I can clear all my backlogs and move on with my life.

Is life really that challenging?

I believes that everything does happen for a reason. Without challenges, would you still be able to appreciate your peaceful and smooth sailing days more? If everyday is smooth sailing and great, you are very blessed then. In life, sometimes, there's up and sometimes, there's down. And it goes on... Without all the ups and downs of life, it wouldn't have been this fun and enjoyable when you are at the up portion of life. When you are at the bottom of life, it's really not the time to feel despair because it's just the universe testing your intentions and setting you up to achieve something greater in life! Once you overcome that, you will then understand why it happens when you look back one day. Cheer up and move on! Jiayou!

Sunflower Day

I'm blessed to have nice friends like Shermaine who gave us 1 nice sunflower each today. I always thought that I didn't like flowers, but I do find the sunflower rather interesting. Wanted to take the small little bee like creature on my sun flower but my camera insisted on perceiving it to be perfect so. It ended up looking so perfect instead. I'm still wondering what's the occasion today. Looking forward for the breath work session tomorrow. I wonder if I'd feel anything this time, other than hunger haha.. :P In the evening, I went to my grandpa's 80th bday celebration and I guess, it's really a success. Almost everyone was there except for my cousin who got posted to Australia during this period of time. Honestly speaking, although my grandma didn't look at my camera but she seems to be looking at my grandpa lovingly, isn't she? I love my life!

Self Mastery Intensive Review - Day 1

I'm blessed to be able to review the Self Mastery Intensive Program again. It refreshes my memory and re-enforce the keys and ideas shared during the program. One of my favourite idea is that for Success is not about "I must have...", it's about "As long as ....". By doing so, we will be able to have multiple success all the time in life. As long as we have the attitude of being gratitude to things that we already have that we can then attract more things that we want into our life! I felt good about the exercise shared after every break is very interesting as well. It really helps in releasing our muscle tension and improves blood circulation. Looking forward to the rest of the program! :)

Learning through Sharing & Others' Experience

I'm blessed to be able to learn about how one should present on the stage through peer review process. Although, I'm not the one presenting, by giving feedback and thinking about what else can be improved does help in the process of learning how to present better should I have the chance to do so. Learning through others' experience and sharing session is a easier short-cut to future success I felt. But without doing any actual presentation probably won't help either. So I've decided to just give it a try but doing a 1 min presentation  at tonight's sharing session haha.. Whether or not people are interested or not doesn't really matter at least I get to practice and learn more from it. Anyway, I'll still need be more confidence and less nervous when talking in front of many people as I'll need to be the MC of a networking session held on 25 Nov evening this month. I hope that everything will go well for me.

It's Great to be MIP 13's Logistic Support!

Having support MIP over the weekend, I felt quite blessed to be part of the logistic team as we had lots of fun, had more great friends, got to revise on the various ways of analysis and brought home a new mind map, which looks pretty interesting and informative. I always felt that it's really great that such a wonderful program is still constantly improving itself for the better. And I finally got a chance to take photos with our master instructors. :) Looking forward to the next batch in Dec. Every batch, there's always a new pose for the participants as well as the logistics photos. :D And I felt very much appreciated for being part of the logistics of that event. This time round there are 16 people supporting as logistics, including their staff. So far that's the biggest logistic team I've seen so far as after we subtract away their staff, there are still about 13 of us, volunteering to be the supporters. I wonder if in the next batch, will there be more than 20

Robert Timms

I feel that Robert Timms at Border is quite a nice place to have coffee or tea at, because of the great customer service provided. Whenever, I turn my head to look around, the staff comes to my service, without even requiring me to call for them most of the time. Probably because of the staff : customer ratio, which is pretty high. With the price that their drinks are selling at, and the customer service provided, I find it rather reasonable. The only thing that I felt can be better about that cafe place is in terms of the sound proofing. The place is pretty cosy just that the echo from all our voices are a bit loud. The environment will be perfect if there can be no echo at all. Robert Timms = Great Customer Service!

Mettle Games

It's interesting to be able to see the various stuns performed, such as driving a car on 2 wheels, car dancing (yes it's the car that danced!) , super fast parallel parking and reverse parking. There's also the drifting performance as well. It's also rather shocking to see the spark coming out of the exhaust from one of the cars when it's about to move, along with the spark, there's also very loud noise, almost like gun shot sound. Jayden, thanks for the ticket. The organiser team actually carried portable 100plus and fan for distribution as well. How sweet of them. :) Here's some of the other videos: Wake Boarding   Drifting Speed Parallel Parking Speed Reverse Parking 2 Wheel Drive

Interesting & Fulfilling Discussion!

I'm blessed to be able to have a fulfilling discussion with Joel, this afternoon. I'm amazed by what he does for a living and find it very interesting. After talking to him, I actually have a much clearer idea on what I wanted to achieve in life and saw a different light in the things I can do. I felt very grateful and blessed to have met so many nice people in my life that guided me along the way. My new plans for the rest of this month is to sit down and start planning how I intend to move forward in my life. :) Another very interesting thing about Joel is in terms of what his name means: J - Joy O - Optimism E - Excitement L - Laughter It's an innovative way to describe himself, yet it's very true. If you happen to feel down or need more laughter and clarity in your life. Do consider meeting up with him.

Transcend Beyond Destiny

Felt more peaceful and happier after attending the Transcend Section as part of the review of the Advanced Numerology Program yesterday. The reason why I got to attend it is because I chose to help my master out at the Love & Light Festival. :) Perhaps, it's part of the journey that I need to go through to reconnect myself with my heart. Although most of the time, I'm happy and joyous but then somehow or rather, other than being able to feel happy, I hardly show any other emotions. Not because I won't feel sad but more of because I'm not exactly connected to my heart, so somehow, I tend to suppress all the unhappy feelings more. The only fortunate thing is that luckily, most of the time I really am happy. That's when you will see me smiling all the time. But when I don't smile that much, it's probably when I'm more disconnected. With the program today, we are taught to meditate in a different from usual way, to meditate and feel our physical body, e
