Took leave and met up with a few good friends for high tea at Orchard Area. Had a nice chat with them and catch up perhaps. I quite like the tea there but the food wasn't exactly very fulfilling as brunch. After that we had round at @ TCC because it was my birthday and I had the 50% discount card they send me as I was a member. :)

Exactly 10 days ago, we had our dinner gathering at Ah Seah porridge. I can't believe we spent like close to $50 for the dinner with just 4 of us! Most amazingly, we ate a total of 11 dishes. Here's what happened...

That's Lina & the very big bowl of rice!! Had dinner yesterday with my friends after many months of not seeing them. I'm truly amazed and glad to see their turnout rate. I felt blessed and happy to see my friends again after so long. It's  really good to see so many of them showing up for the gathering yesterday. I hope to see them again next month or so. :)

Although there's just left with the three of us, somehow we still continued the gathering. Had a nice chat and catch up with my 2 poly classmates yesterday at Timbre @ The Art House. The pizza is really nice the only thing is that, the place is really very warm. Perhaps it's just the weather that day, that's why it rained today. :) Thanks for coming my friends. I hope to see more people the next gathering. Hopefully, I won't end up changing dates as such like this time round.

Let's Eat! I think that I must be very hungry this Chinese New Year, as I'm actually the first one to eat and first one to finished. Can you believe it? Just after it's being set up, I've started eating and that's how I ended up finishing first.

My Japanese Mixed Vegetable Rice. :P There's actually quite a number of variety for food but then I didn't feel like eating what's available in the set meal. Then I saw my favourite Cod Fish & Golden Mushroom. :D So I just decided to order them along with white rice. My conclusion is that: "It is possible to order the food such that it feels very chinese although it's a Jap restaurant!" Haha... It's just a matter of whether you've thought of it that way or not ba.

Me & My Students for my Photoshop Workshop  Had a busy weekend! After completing my Photoshop Workshop, I'm glad that it was a success and my students gave me pretty nice testimonials. I really felt very grateful and blessed to be able to conduct that program and being able to have such nice students. :D And of course, I've managed to get a video testimonial as well.

That's the Lady with the Great Memory @ Beer Market! Went to the Beer Market on Saturday. While waiting for my friends, I was sort of sitting at the fence in front of the area and in a way considered as loitering around. Just by doing that, the lady standing at the entrance can actually remember me when she sees me again! Wow! I'm amazed by that...

Nice menu at Central Hong Kong Cafe Had an enjoyable dinner discussion with one of my best friends at Orchard area. In fact, we are also debating about is it possible to be passionate about something if it really don't generates income. Well, to me is that I think it's because of passion that someone becomes successful 'cos of the numerous famous successful people that I've known so far. But she was thinking that if they didn't make that much, they won't actually be that passionate about it after all. So it's actually because they've made a fortune from it that they became even more passionate about the things they did. And it didn't end up with much conclusion on that area in the end. It seems to be a trend that my friends somehow like to book hotel room to stay and celebrate each other's birthday! Last friday, our dearest nana also booked a room for our gathering and celebration. :) Enjoyed ourselves chatting, drinking and laughing. Thank you nana for handling all the admin stuff! Had dinner at Chong Qing Steam Boat near the fountain of Suntec City, actually that wasn't the actual name but I'm not sure what's the actual name of that place but doesn't really matter. The teapot outside is actually quite interesting. Just that too bad, I didn't get to take the photo of my friend posing with it :P

What I like about the food at The King Louis is the nice tasting mushroom soup and the dessert. The main dish of the banquet set is a bit too much for 4 girls although we ordered 2-3 people's portion. I wonder if it's the portion being too big or we ordered too much haha.. 'cos we also ordered this starters plate with mixed food, calamari, cheesy potato, drumsticks and potato wedges. I think the band at the King Louis should actually just sing english songs especially songs that are more related to the theme. 'cos listening to chinese songs there just make the environment feel weird somehow. I thought it's supposed to have the castle theme with all the waitress as princess with the crown. I think the waiters should dress like knight as well then it'll look more in sync with the theme :P And I think the band should play those music that's more related to the castle theme. Am walking past the car showroom on the way towards Queenstown shopping centre. Admiring the cars and views along the way since it's quite a distance. I noticed this rock with 2 words - " 元乾 " carved on it. I wonder why... Is it the era that Mercedes Benz started or what? Just had a dinner gathering at AMK Hub! The dinner at soup restaurant is simply delicious! Didn't managed to take a photo of the food there 'cos I'm too hungry to think about that. :X I love the famous chicken dish, the sweet potato leaves and the tofu dish! I didn't know that sweet potato leaves can taste this good before I ate it today! I'm so blessed! Then after that we went to MOF for dessert. The strawberry ice cream is so tasty. Yummy!! I give it 4.5 out of 5 stars. 0.5 as buffer in case there's better ice cream next time. :P  Of course, other than the awesome dinner, we had a great chat and catch up as well. I like the feeling of meeting up with them and talking about things in life, technology or everything else under the sun. I'm glad that I have such great friends!

Went for my friend's Sisters' Gathering today! So it's another event that I'll be my friend's sister (the 4th time for me). Actually, it's quite fun I feel but Joey is the most excited of us all! Probably 'cos she hasn't got a chance to be other bride's sister. Generally, the 1st time, I feel very excited as well! After many times, it's more of a fun thing to do. Especially when I can get to decide what games I want to play! Very chek ark of me hor? Well, actually it's cos I kena arrowed to do the thinking of all the games. Currently, I welcome all games suggestions if you have. :) Thanks in advance for that. But please give it to me more discretely k. The groom can't know about the games, if not then not fun le lol!

Had a great discussion session with one of my friends at McDonald's today. It's great to get a clearer view of what's exactly happening in my life and why is it so. Had a very much enjoyable chat and catch up with another friend that I've not seen for the past 4 months! It's great talking to her. Am glad that at some of in life, I helped to solve her dry eyes problem. Glad that the same solution works for both of us. :) At least for now, I came to understand that it's not the brand, it's the ingredient that helps! Thanks to her, I might be able to solve my foot blister problem as well :) I love the idea of sharing and helping one another so that tomorrow can be better for all of us :) Take care all my friends! Glad to see my friends today. For lunch, I met up with a great friend / mentor for lunch today. Good to catch up with him as his words are always so enlightening. I like his saying that everything you do can lead to success it's just about how passionate you are in doing it and whether it's your own strengths in doing those stuff. Because, if the garang guni can be successful, the hawker selling famous food can be successful, what else can't be? Actually, even if you sell fish, as passionate as qianhu's boss, you can also succeed in selling fish! As for me, my hobby is really in writing blogs I felt. 'cos I find it rather fun to do it. I'm still in the process of improving and writing stuff that adds more value, even if it's just about my own life. If by sharing about me, can add values to other's life, even if it's just a bit of entertainment, that's enough for me! Just that recently, I quite lack the creativity touch.
