Amazing Business Networking Primer Workshop

Yesterday evening, I went for this Business Networking Primer Workshop by Roger Loh. It basically a free session conducted by Roger on how what is Business Networking and how it should be done. It's a rather enlightening session and since it's free, I strongly recommend that if you do have a business that you wish to go in full force on, to register for a seat in the upcoming workshop that they'll be having.

When I almost wanted to give up the idea of helping others unconditionally, he made me realized that it's actually about who you network with and how it should be done so that it'll reap benefits in the long run. In fact, I think it's good to go all out to help others, as long as they are genuine and sincere friends and not out there to just take advantage of us. As long as it's a win-win situation, it's good enough. 1st I give some and eventually, I might get back some. Even if I don't it's ok as long as they have the heart to help it's good enough. It's all about helping one another so that we can all grow and succeed together.

I would like to thank Sam for introducing Roger to me and Roger for his sharing session.

Here's the details of the next workshop :)

Hi Pei Ru, thanks for sharing and glad you found it useful.

As mentioned during the mini workshop, most people don't network because they don't realize the benefits, so that's why I'm doing this once a month...

I look forward to network with you over coffee some time (perhaps after my trip). There's so much to share and learn from each other, or even make some money together :)

So I'm not too sure what config went nuts 'cos I just restore and start again loh.. It's just day 2 nia.. I spoiled the software again lol.. Think maybe I should just not try to be too funny about my config ba.. Then I try to play the game, it seems like my pointer settings will affect the game play if I use pointer. A bit ma fan.. So maybe I should just use mouse for it ba. And something wrong about the map also.. I can see the floor.. yes.. But the pic of the mini and big map for one of the quest cannot be displayed. Now trying to find direct X to install. Hopefully it helps ba. At least most of the stuff is done le....

Tiramisu @ The Tiramisu Hero Cafe

While walking from Jalan Besar Stadium's carpark to Lavender Food Square to eat my favourite wanton mee, we past by an interesting dessert cafe - the tiramisu hero . the tiramisu hero As a fan of tiramisu, I wonder why I haven't seen that place before that. So after dinner, we dropped by to check out their menu. I am amazed to know that they actually serves a wide variety of tiramisu flavours, unfortunately not all special flavours are available. From the board displayed at the order counter, I can see that they strike off all the sold out flavours... I believe their business must be very good because there's only a few flavours are left. The $3.5 MiniHero are all sold out. So I had to order the ♥ MommaHero (classic original flavour) instead. Even their menu looks so cute  ♥ While I was sitting at the table, waiting to be served, I wonder if I can even finish the entire tub myself as I am pretty full from dinner and it seems like it might be pretty big....

Free Antivirus Software

Just shared with one of my friends a few days ago that her computer is infected by some virus. And came to realised only yesterday that she's not the only one with unprotected computer. Then I'm wondering if it's just IT people that knows where to get free yet good antivirus software and install? Just to share with those that didn't know, AVG is really a very good yet free antivirus software. If you don't have one, it's best that you just download and install it so that your computer will be almost always virus free. At least most of the normal virus won't be able to disturb you :)
