Lesson Learnt

The lesson I've learnt today is that we should support our loved ones in whatever they are doing. Let them choose what they want to do and let them do what they love to do. Forcing our decision upon them will lead to 2 outcome, either they go against us, or they will just take our decision. If they do take up our decision 'cos we force them to, they might resent us one day if our decision is not what they really want in life and it didn't really work out for them.

Unfortunately, none of my loved ones understand that. So I guess, the thing I can do is to do whatever I like and continue to believe that their objections in life is always due to their love for me. It has nothing to do with my decisions in life being right or not. After all, I can only succeed in life if I persisted in doing what I love to do and enjoy doing. Never give up!!

Kind Soul @ Borders

I'm blessed to have met a kind soul in borders that gave me his seat when he was about to leave the area, just 'cos he saw me sitting on the floor. Haha.  Didn't catch much sleep today as I slept quite late last night, while trying to rush out my stuff, and there's an early morning meeting today. But at least, I've got to rest a bit, sitting down and thinking through my future plans. Now having some food at McDonald's and updating my blog.  Looking forward to tonight's networking event in which for the 1st time, I'm part of the committee in organizing an event, almost from scratch. Doing the logo design, tee shirt design and ticket design. Then being the MC of today but I still haven't really practice much. After going through once yesterday, reading from script, I really need to pray for everything to go as smoothly as yesterday. For once, I'm able to speak in a confident and fearless manner yesterday but with more people today, I can't be...

Taipei Trip Day 1

The morning flight is really very early, starting at 7.10am. Which means I need to wake up at around 3.45 - 4am! Amazingly, I'm the one that slept more but that's the photo of hardworking one vs the sleepy one :P So, who's the piggy here?
