Visiting Pam at Little India

It's Great to see Pam again after so long! It looks like quite a busy place to be at, especially on Sunday. Then, we went to eat somewhere nearby. It feels good to have dinner kaki as well. :) See more photos...

Blessed Day

I felt very blessed that for once, I got to catch up with my friend who invited me to her house warming party. Actually, her house is pretty nice looking, as for convenience wise, actually, it's still not bad although it is at woodlands area, at least it is located near the MRT station. I thought Woodlands is actually quite far from town but then actually, from her MRT station to Tanjong Pagar Station only takes about 45-50mins. Which is pretty fast I should say. After all from my house's MRT station to the same place, it takes about 40mins. :) Another blessed thing is that although it rained a while after I reached her house, the rain stopped when I left it, so I didn't need an umbrella. Hence, I'm blessed with nice temperature and clear sky when I'm walking to and fro the MRT station. Hope to see her and my other friends that weren't there again soon, since she's arranging for a gathering.

Had Indian Food & Some Drinks

Naan Indian Bread Had dinner at one of the Indian restaurant in Little India yesterday. The Naan bread taste good. I like the cheese one that I've picked and the butter chicken tasted good as well. :P But the embarrassing part is that I actually need my foreigner friend to tell me which Indian Food is nice and non-spicy, and bring me around Little India. It's time that I need to explore Singapore more and recognize the roads. At least, I'm supposed to know my own home town better isn't it? Also, it's actually the 1st time that I've seen someone put lime into their beer, it's rather interesting I felt. I'm still wondering, what is it meant for. That place also comes with free Tapas, which is some small finger food to go along. At the nearby area, I saw this cute looking signboard with a dog on it. It's called the Backpacker's pub according to the sign. I quite like the signboard actually. :D

Dinner @ Orchard

Nice menu at Central Hong Kong Cafe Had an enjoyable dinner discussion with one of my best friends at Orchard area. In fact, we are also debating about is it possible to be passionate about something if it really don't generates income. Well, to me is that I think it's because of passion that someone becomes successful 'cos of the numerous famous successful people that I've known so far. But she was thinking that if they didn't make that much, they won't actually be that passionate about it after all. So it's actually because they've made a fortune from it that they became even more passionate about the things they did. And it didn't end up with much conclusion on that area in the end. Upcoming Christmas Tree Deco Then, we went for window shopping, looking at the latest bargains at taka. In fact, who says that taka only sells expensive stuff? So far most of my night gowns for wedding dinner are bought there and most are bought at the sale. So it a

I'm blessed but still a little uncertain..

Originally, I thought I already knew what I wanted, it's just that I haven't quite figured out how to go about implementing it. However, today after my appointment with a BNI friend today, I came to understand more that I didn't really sit down and think about what is it that I really want to do. I've always been blessed with lots of people that helped me along the way. But exactly what's my passion and what I want to do, seems to still be quite blur. 'cos I didn't really implement some of my plans. But at least for once, I felt pretty certain that whichever it is, it will work out and succeed. With all the possible support and guidance I had from all my friends and mentors, everything is possible. So I've decided to meet up with one of my best friend on Wednesday and see how ba. I look forward to meeting her soon.

Nice Marina Bay Sands Night View

Was at Marina Bays Sands's iProperty Fair this weekend and I think their night view is really very nice. On sat, there was even a photography contest hence there's a lot of people taking photographs there.

Investment Outlook Seminar Review

This Thursday, my friend invited me to an FA Investment Outlook Seminar at URA Centre. After attending the seminar, I felt that Financial Alliance's seminar is quite unlike other investment seminars that I've been to. They gave me a feeling that they'll protect their clients interest genuinely.  An example of protecting the client's interest is that when they felt that the market is going to correct, they've currently implemented the plan of shifting down their client's portfolio by 1 level so that it is faster in reducing their risk and exposure, i.e. an balanced portfolio after the shift will probably become a conservative portfolio after the shift. I like the way the protect their clients and they are very honest about their performance and judgment in things. They shared about the part that they will only increase the equities exposure of their clients in the recent market bull run after they monitor it for a while and felt confident enough that the market

Discovery from my Fingerprint Analysis

After going through the free fingerprint reading during the preview today, I came to realized that fingerprint reading isn't as simple as what I thought it was. Initially, I thought that I have 3 ulnar loops and 1 unknown loop when I went through the analysis myself purely based on the paper that I've got. But then I found out today that actually it's 3 whorl loop and 1 ulnar loop. 'cos the free analysis covers only the thumb and index finger of both hands. Through the preview, I also found out about the various types of loops. Honestly speaking, as a non-trained personnel, it's not easy to tell them apart haha. After seeing my left index finger, that whorl loop really look very much like the ulnar loop. But the good thing is that at least I found out what my loops are today and I've got to learn many new things today. :) At least, I can now categorize between those 4 main categories of loops better. Just that, I can't tell exactly which specific type under

Gathering @ Marina Mandarin Hotel

It seems to be a trend that my friends somehow like to book hotel room to stay and celebrate each other's birthday! Last friday, our dearest nana also booked a room for our gathering and celebration. :) Enjoyed ourselves chatting, drinking and laughing. Thank you nana for handling all the admin stuff! May you have a safe trip to Aussie! See you around when you are back. More Photos @ Facebook

KOI Cafe

As our meeting today is at Ang Mo Kio area, so my friends bought some drinks from the KOI Cafe as well. I think the milk tea tasted the best so far. It's still my favorite bubble tea in town. :) It's pretty interesting and good 'cos we get to choose the sugar level. And there's lots of variety. So far those that I've tried are pretty nice, as the tea is very smooth. I think they blend it pretty well. The only down side is that the price is on the high side.

Power of Gratitude

It's quite interesting to read the secret scrolls that I subscribed to. For today, it reminds me that I can never receive anything unless I'm grateful for what I already have. The Power of Gratitude is that if we are completely and always grateful for everything that we have, we will never need to ask for anything. Since what we want will be given to us even before we ask for it.

Arteastiq - Tea

The Menu Yesterday : The tea float / ice-cream at this restaurant is pretty nice and unique. Maybe because I've never eaten such things before ba. Haha. I ordered the Captain Buntan which tastes not bad. Just that I can't believe why would it costs almost as much as the lunch I just ate earlier. The other pot of tea that my friend ordered somehow doesn't taste bitter anyway. So the sugar was intact haha. Actually mine comes with honey which I didn't add at all as well. I think it's quite a nice place to go 'cos it's rather peaceful and the seats is comfortable haha. This place is located at the gallery near Cineleisure.  On the way there, I got distracted by a shop with very big hello kitties in it. Just that it's actually blue in color. It's some toy museum I supposed as inside also have this "Wu Kong" from Dragon BallZ. Too bad I dun get to take photo with the hello kitty. In the evening, I'm quite blessed to have so many of m

Give 'N' Gain Networking Event

Attended the Give 'N' Gain Networking Event conducted by Roger yesterday! It's great to meet new friends and existing ones. :) In fact the 1 min sharing session is enough for almost everyone to go up to talk for 1 min. I'm blessed that I didn't get to hear the bell at all, maybe I did complete what I have to say within 1 min. I'm also very blessed that all the mp3 flyers are gone so, at least it means that I didn't print extras. :P I felt very blessed to have met people there that are really out to help me and other people. I would love to attend more of such events in future to expand my network further as well as to have more nice friends.

TPY CC Networking Event

Actually for the event tonight, it's quite a different experience. There are lots of people and quite a number of familiar faces. Catch up with some of the friends and got to know some new ones. I believe that it should be a good way to network with others to expand our circle of friends to join such events. Most importantly, I've came to realised that actually, a numerology namecard is pretty good for networking purpose as most people usually will have a lot to ask. Thanks to BNI - Abundance, we got food and some drinks as well. I'm glad that I'm very blessed with lots of great friends. Looking forward to tomorrow's Give N Gain Event. I shall go and present the MP3 player idea then, because if I don't, there's no one to help me on that anyway. I've finally finished up the flyers and website to market it. I've also thought of new ideas on how to market it. It's time to take control over the situation I guess. The website is at mp3.upyourpoten

Nice Offices Near Funan Area

It's a rather nice concept to have small offices rental for startups at quite a centralised area, with nice facilities. I like the design of the main reception area, they even serve free drinks but I believe it's actually in the rental package. But it's good for people that invites their guests or clients for meet up in the area for discussion or something 'cos of the nice environment so that success rate should be higher I guess. :)

Thinking of Computerizing My Notes -- Is there a easier way?

Actually I'm thinking of computerizing the various useful notes from courses I've had so that I don't have to keep so many hard copy stuff. And it should be easier to locate when I need it. The main issue is that, there's so many notes and I wonder if there's any easier way to do it other than to type everything out myself. In fact for some of the books I've read, I even have a soft copy of the summaries LOL. I'm still thinking if there'll be a much simpler, easy and faster way to do it. I'll be glad if I can have some suggestions :P After all, after all the various courses I've even attended, looking for the exact thing I want isn't that easy. I just want to systemise everything so that my life will be easier. The only thing is how can I do it with the minimal time possible?

Understand Yourself through Fingerprints

Came across this company called wonderful minds, which my 2 friends shared with me about. It's actually a business opportunity where you can share with your friends, especially those that have kids. So that the kids after understanding themselves, can just learn through the most effective way so as maximize their learning ability from young. I've found out that all our 10 fingerprints added together form our learning map, if we do the full scan, it comes with a 22 page report telling us about our personality, learning style / pattern, are we left or right brain. I heard that the more of the same pattern we have, the more we are towards that characteristic. Somehow, my thumb has such a unique pattern that it was under none of the 4 main free info that I've got. So too bad for me. Actually, I'm quite curious to find out more.. Here's the 4 main types of patterns for the fingerprint loops. The Arch: Possesses abundant, unlimited potential, high capacity to be moul
