Substituted my friend for BNI this morning, and had a great breakfast! Hope that I've added massive value to my friend through the 1 min sharing session.  I felt that actually to connect with the audience isn't that difficult provided that I can read from script simply in an obvious manner haha.. So far that's the only way that I really felt confident when I actually present that I know of. In fact, it's much easier helping my friend present than sharing about my own stuff which, I'm simply unprepared for. :P The, it sets me thinking, is it because of the crowd, as in crowd that are around for networking purpose is better? Or is it because reading from script directly is much easier? I've concluded that, perhaps it's actually both that makes the task easier. :D

Had my walking training lesson and finally understood why is it that ppl can tell it's me walking into a room from my footstep. It's just due to wrong walking technique. After the lesson, I've learnt how to walk with a lot less noise and how to be more stable when walking in high heels. Glad that I've met Vanessa so that I can then correct my own walking method over time, probably won't trip or fall that easily next time. :P Vanessa, thanks a lot for your patience and guidance.

After going through the free fingerprint reading during the preview today, I came to realized that fingerprint reading isn't as simple as what I thought it was. Initially, I thought that I have 3 ulnar loops and 1 unknown loop when I went through the analysis myself purely based on the paper that I've got. But then I found out today that actually it's 3 whorl loop and 1 ulnar loop. 'cos the free analysis covers only the thumb and index finger of both hands. Through the preview, I also found out about the various types of loops. Honestly speaking, as a non-trained personnel, it's not easy to tell them apart haha. After seeing my left index finger, that whorl loop really look very much like the ulnar loop. But the good thing is that at least I found out what my loops are today and I've got to learn many new things today. :) At least, I can now categorize between those 4 main categories of loops better. It's quite interesting to read the secret scrolls that I subscribed to. For today, it reminds me that I can never receive anything unless I'm grateful for what I already have. The Power of Gratitude is that if we are completely and always grateful for everything that we have, we will never need to ask for anything. Since what we want will be given to us even before we ask for it.

Came across this company called wonderful minds, which my 2 friends shared with me about. It's actually a business opportunity where you can share with your friends, especially those that have kids. So that the kids after understanding themselves, can just learn through the most effective way so as maximize their learning ability from young. I've found out that all our 10 fingerprints added together form our learning map, if we do the full scan, it comes with a 22 page report telling us about our personality, learning style / pattern, are we left or right brain. I heard that the more of the same pattern we have, the more we are towards that characteristic. Yesterday evening, I went for this Business Networking Primer Workshop by Roger Loh . It basically a free session conducted by Roger on how what is Business Networking and how it should be done. It's a rather enlightening session and since it's free, I strongly recommend that if you do have a business that you wish to go in full force on, to register for a seat in the upcoming workshop that they'll be having.

My lessons from " The Power of Focus " book today is that I've learned 3 simple steps to change habits to a successful one.

I'm currently reading the book called "Power of Focus". I find the sentence about "Life Doesn't Just Happen to Me" within the 1st chapter interesting and meaningful. They mentioned that everything that happens in my life is the results of the choices I've made till today. Most importantly, "Successful People have Success Habits" and that's why they are successful. I'm pretty curious about what else they have to say and am looking forward to read more during tomorrow's train ride. :)

I went to this free feng shui seminar today. It's rather interesting, because the master added lots of value to me. She shared about how the birth date affects the looks and how the looks reflects the things we lack.
