Free books and Shows to keep you entertained during Covid 19

Free Books:
Although our National Library is closed, our Mobile library is still available for you to download ebooks or audio books.

There are free audible books from Amazon for kids, teens, etc. For adults if you like literacy classics or harry potter, you can consider listening too.

Free read from Scribd for 30 days, no credit card information required, valid till 30 Apr. After signing up with a totally new account, it would still prompt you to subscribe but don't worry you are already subscribed for 1 mth. Just have to ignore the subscription prompt so that they don't deduct your money. If you don't mind providing a card and cancelling later, you can use my Scribd referral link to get 60 days free subscription.

Free shows:
Nites.tv movies provides free online movies which includes 2020 movies, such as Frozen, Star wars, etc. But you can watch the Marvel blockbusters as they aren't there.

US TV channels are available online for free to keep you entertained, it includes Disney, Fox, CNN and other channels.

There is also Singtel cast for singtel customers though but I personally don't find those free channels that interesting so I gave up on them.

Alternatively, you can continue to watch YouTube videos 😂

Monopoly Deal - A Fun Game to Play @ Chalets!

I felt that Monopoly Deal is really a fun and challenging game to play, especially at the Chalet. There are many rules to the game, but luckily we had a  monopoly deal rules expert with us to double-click with in event of discrepancy! I feel that it requires strategy and some form of luck to win the game. So far, I always get good property cards sets but it always get taken away 'cos I don't have the "Just say NO" card and it tend to get taken away, especially if I've a complete set. Then, I tried the strategy of not putting up a complete set, then it also doesn't really work 'cos in the end, I don't end up putting my sets on the table. Perhaps, I'll need to play a lot more times and try different methods till I get the idea right I guess. If you do have the chance, try playing that game. It's really exciting, 'cos you'll never know how long will your properties stay with you! As well as, how much money you can have in your hands. T...

Business Network International

I went for one of my friends' Business Network International gathering today. It's actually quite interesting, although initially, I'm quite lost. But after some time, then ok le. A new experience I should say, with a group of people that likes whatever each other is going so much and having lots of fun! The people there are really very friendly, so I shall add those that I've talked to into my hotlist then. Just that I'm not too sure if they really remember me :P But after sometime, I'll need to replace my friend for about 2 weeks so it should be ok I guess. The only downside is that. 7.30am is really a tough timing to wake up and go for the meeting. I'm glad I'm there. I'm so blessed!

Shaun Stenning - Story of the Refund Request

I'm merely sharing the harsh truth and facts about the refund story started by Shaun Stenning himself. My post is biased toward my personal experience so judge it yourself. First of all, there was originally a blog post in their site to tell us that there will be a refund statement or something that will be send to us some Release Agreement but nothing ever happen other than the acknowledgment email reply which I've received from Shaun: "On Mon, Jan 24, 2011 at 12:15 PM, Shaun Stenning <shaun.stenning@dollarrose.com> wrote: your refund request has been received, please note that we will not be actioning the request until 1st March 2011 when you will receive the Release Agreement Shaun" After that, I just visited that link again and it has already been removed entirely. It's now loading page not found instead. If you were me, how would you feel?
