Four Points by Sheraton Auckland

During COVID-19 period, I noticed that every shop, every hotel have hand sanitizer. In Auckland, Four Points hotel is the first place that I saw automatic hand sanitizer 😅.

This was taken during my NZ trip around mid Feb this year, I quite enjoyed staying at the hotel, it was comfortable and clean. The customer service is quite good.

When they had case of confusion where they issued us a room that is pending servicing, the hotel employee helped us reach the reception who gave us vouchers for free drink while waiting for another room and offered to send our luggage up the room.

Piggy likes the bed 😊

On the last night that we stayed there, we managed to get free upgrade to a very big room that come with bath tub. So if I go Auckland again for leisure trip, I would definitely stay there again, as long as they are still around post Covid 19.

Would rate the hotel 4 star I guess, if there wasn't any error during first check in, will have gave them a better rating but then if there wasn't any issue, it is quite hard to tell how good is their customer service though.

Free Antivirus Software

Just shared with one of my friends a few days ago that her computer is infected by some virus. And came to realised only yesterday that she's not the only one with unprotected computer. Then I'm wondering if it's just IT people that knows where to get free yet good antivirus software and install? Just to share with those that didn't know, AVG is really a very good yet free antivirus software. If you don't have one, it's best that you just download and install it so that your computer will be almost always virus free. At least most of the normal virus won't be able to disturb you :)

Real Implications of 2G Service Termination for Singapore

I know the article about 2G service termination across singapore from 1st Apr 2017 was written in 2015. But how many of us actually understand the true impact of this termination then? Before things get terminated, we may have felt that since our phone is the latest model or it is at least new, the impact is minimal. But how true is that really? Please, with Dual SIM feature, it's definitely not a Sunset! It is just the beginning of our agony.. :/ With reference to the article:  http://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/singapore/telcos-to-end-2g-services/1916108.html . I mainly only realised the impact since 21 Nov but according to M1, they had terminated the 2G services on their prepaid M Card since 15 Nov. So what does this really mean to us consumers? It means that with the Dual SIM phones out there in the market, you are in for a ride! Because, with Samsung's flagship model S7 or even the exploding model Note 7 that's later than S7, the standby or non data SIM opti...
