SMRT Graffiti

Have been seeing the SMRT GRaffiti news on the papers for quite a few days. Honestly speaking, I personally find the SMRT Graffiti artistically and nicely done up. So much so that their staff also mistook it as advertisement and only reported the case about 2 days after that. I feel that the SMRT should have preserved the Graffiti on the train instead of washing it off as it's really nice looking. But then too bad the guy (Fricker) that spray painted that piece of art is very courageous yet stupid 'cos he should have applied for permission before doing it. So that his art can be appreciated and admired by more people instead of being removed and only pictures of it are left and in return have to be arrested and put on trial about that.
But I feel that his case and the car and property vandalism case is different. At least this is nice and beautifully done. I do hope that our government and court could make use of his talent to help us decorate all our HDB void decks as a form of punishment instead of jailing and caning him, as for the expenses incurred in the process, that's his to bear as a form of fine. That will certainly beautify Singapore future and yet bring justice to his case as well. It has to be all the void decks and not just some so that it feels more like a punishment. Because it's decoration of ALL our void decks with nice looking Graffiti does takes up a lot of time, and that's a more win-win punishment in replacement of caning. And just let him bear all the cost of that spray painting fee for all the decorations as a form of fine. Yes give him a deadline such that he needs to paint them everyday for like 12hrs or something. This will make Singapore better looking, and yet punish the person for trespassing SMRT areas and "vandalizing" SMRT property. It will then be a win-win situation ma. :)

Monopoly Deal - A Fun Game to Play @ Chalets!

I felt that Monopoly Deal is really a fun and challenging game to play, especially at the Chalet. There are many rules to the game, but luckily we had a  monopoly deal rules expert with us to double-click with in event of discrepancy! I feel that it requires strategy and some form of luck to win the game. So far, I always get good property cards sets but it always get taken away 'cos I don't have the "Just say NO" card and it tend to get taken away, especially if I've a complete set. Then, I tried the strategy of not putting up a complete set, then it also doesn't really work 'cos in the end, I don't end up putting my sets on the table. Perhaps, I'll need to play a lot more times and try different methods till I get the idea right I guess. If you do have the chance, try playing that game. It's really exciting, 'cos you'll never know how long will your properties stay with you! As well as, how much money you can have in your hands. T...

Business Network International

I went for one of my friends' Business Network International gathering today. It's actually quite interesting, although initially, I'm quite lost. But after some time, then ok le. A new experience I should say, with a group of people that likes whatever each other is going so much and having lots of fun! The people there are really very friendly, so I shall add those that I've talked to into my hotlist then. Just that I'm not too sure if they really remember me :P But after sometime, I'll need to replace my friend for about 2 weeks so it should be ok I guess. The only downside is that. 7.30am is really a tough timing to wake up and go for the meeting. I'm glad I'm there. I'm so blessed!

Shaun Stenning - Story of the Refund Request

I'm merely sharing the harsh truth and facts about the refund story started by Shaun Stenning himself. My post is biased toward my personal experience so judge it yourself. First of all, there was originally a blog post in their site to tell us that there will be a refund statement or something that will be send to us some Release Agreement but nothing ever happen other than the acknowledgment email reply which I've received from Shaun: "On Mon, Jan 24, 2011 at 12:15 PM, Shaun Stenning <shaun.stenning@dollarrose.com> wrote: your refund request has been received, please note that we will not be actioning the request until 1st March 2011 when you will receive the Release Agreement Shaun" After that, I just visited that link again and it has already been removed entirely. It's now loading page not found instead. If you were me, how would you feel?
