After around 3 months of jobless state

For me, being able to survived for around 3 months without a regular job for me is like almost unbelievable. I did use some of my savings but actually I didn't use that much I think. And from my tracking, I'll definitely be better off this month than last month. At least I think so. And whatever I'm doing reminds me of...

I've remembered the last time when I'm celebrating my friend's birthday at Raffles Place area. One of my friend a Christian shared with me more about Christianity. Somehow or rather it seems like whatever I believe in is similar to Christianity 'cos I believed that we should give 10% of our income to Charity, they give it to their church, for me, I gave it to world vision now. If you are interested in donating to time, can click on that link haha. The logic behind the donation is mainly about sharing with the society, sharing with the universe material things that I've obtained.

She mentioned that her pastor went on a mission to spread the love of god without regular pay from being a stationed pastor. It's actually very brave of him to do that. And they believed that if they believe what they are doing is for good, they don't have to worry. Although I'm not a believer of any particular religion, maybe more of guan yin ma at the temple in bugis, 'cos I used to donate that 10% to her temple initially but then 'cos I didn't dropped by so World Vision is an easier alternative 'cos I can donate online haha. That's the lazy way of doing it. But from the moment I started sharing with the universe, things actually changes and improves a great deal!

To me, religion is just a form of belief that relates us to a particular way of thinking more. I believe in retribution, sharing and the unlimited possibilities when you tap into the universe. Sorry if this comment offends anyone.

Monopoly Deal - A Fun Game to Play @ Chalets!

I felt that Monopoly Deal is really a fun and challenging game to play, especially at the Chalet. There are many rules to the game, but luckily we had a  monopoly deal rules expert with us to double-click with in event of discrepancy! I feel that it requires strategy and some form of luck to win the game. So far, I always get good property cards sets but it always get taken away 'cos I don't have the "Just say NO" card and it tend to get taken away, especially if I've a complete set. Then, I tried the strategy of not putting up a complete set, then it also doesn't really work 'cos in the end, I don't end up putting my sets on the table. Perhaps, I'll need to play a lot more times and try different methods till I get the idea right I guess. If you do have the chance, try playing that game. It's really exciting, 'cos you'll never know how long will your properties stay with you! As well as, how much money you can have in your hands. T...

Shaun Stenning - Story of the Refund Request

I'm merely sharing the harsh truth and facts about the refund story started by Shaun Stenning himself. My post is biased toward my personal experience so judge it yourself. First of all, there was originally a blog post in their site to tell us that there will be a refund statement or something that will be send to us some Release Agreement but nothing ever happen other than the acknowledgment email reply which I've received from Shaun: "On Mon, Jan 24, 2011 at 12:15 PM, Shaun Stenning <shaun.stenning@dollarrose.com> wrote: your refund request has been received, please note that we will not be actioning the request until 1st March 2011 when you will receive the Release Agreement Shaun" After that, I just visited that link again and it has already been removed entirely. It's now loading page not found instead. If you were me, how would you feel?

Tom's Palette - Coffee Cheesecake (Flavour of the Month)

Like my usual ice cream cravings, my favourite ice cream store is none other than Tom's Palette haha.. Simply because their ice cream are affordable and tasty. They had a wide range o flavour and variety with new flavours every now and then. :D  This month's flavour of the month is -- Coffee Cheesecake! It's either that it's a new flavour or I had not noticed this flavour previously as it tasted great! Have a kind of Tiramisu taste maybe because of the coffee portion. With half a cup of Coffee Cheesecake and half a cup of Chocolate Sorbet, it was a heavenly combination for me! Haha.. I had a medium cup last Sunday, and I make sure that I go before 7pm haha.. so it's pre-dinner not dessert, otherwise, by the time I finished dinner, no more ice cream for me. :X   Website:  www.tomspalette.com.sg As mentioned on their site, they are located at Shaw Towers, Shaw Leisure Gallery #01-25.
