New Tablet

Hmm was thinking of not buying a laptop on fri before 8pm. Yes.. it's just before 8pm nia.. 'cos hor.. after that my friends told me that they got netbooks, hmm 2 got Lenovo S10 with 3 yrs warranty and 2GB ram ($788), and 1 got MSI Wind, 1 yr warranty and 2GB ram ($729). I felt a bit tempted so I ask and found out that there's no more ermm pink MSI Wind le. I thought maybe S10 looks nice too.. and got pink one but needs additional $20 la. Well.. sounds quite ok ba.

But then before I reached Expo today, one of my friend that got the S10 one, told me that S10 watch high resolution video locally a bit lag not sure what's wrong. But MSI Wind seems to be working find. But I still feel a bit sian 'cos the rating is just ok nia haha.. Somemore the game I wanted to play with it needs to set certain config one. so I wonder Maple or other games can play or not..

In the end, when I finally reached Expo!! The 1st stall was Toshiba haha.. So I nv get to go further inside except to enter lucky draw and the lucky dip. But didn't win anything la. 'cos I was at the stall for a bit too long le ba. I started asking about one laptop, then another one. Just cannot make up my mind haha.. 'cos the Tablet looks so nice (but not pink) but then the price is quite steep.. Others in comparison seems a lot cheaper haha.. But in the end, after the sales guy gave a lot of discount, I felt a bit too tempted so I ended up buying a Toshiba R400 lol....

On the way home on the bus, I was bored so I started reading the phamplet.. Realised that it seems like there's no DVD drive.. OMG!! In the end, I went all the way down to Expo again with my friend and her hubby to try and get one. So the deal was not bad but very time consuming. haha.. So I ended up wasting money again.. lol

Just shared with one of my friends a few days ago that her computer is infected by some virus. And came to realised only yesterday that she's not the only one with unprotected computer. Then I'm wondering if it's just IT people that knows where to get free yet good antivirus software and install? Just to share with those that didn't know, AVG is really a very good yet free antivirus software. If you don't have one, it's best that you just download and install it so that your computer will be almost always virus free. At least most of the normal virus won't be able to disturb you :)

Backup!

Haha.. I spent most of the day creating recovery disk (1 set -- initial setting), install everything I want then create backup disk. Lol.. Yes I really need the backup... 'cos before I create the backup.. I actually configure until the DVD drive cannot use.. Such that ermm heng hor, Windows have restore point and I was constantly installing stuff.. haha.. So I'm not too sure what config went nuts 'cos I just restore and start again loh.. It's just day 2 nia.. I spoiled the software again lol.. Think maybe I should just not try to be too funny about my config ba.. Then I try to play the game, it seems like my pointer settings will affect the game play if I use pointer. A bit ma fan.. So maybe I should just use mouse for it ba. And something wrong about the map also.. I can see the floor.. yes.. But the pic of the mini and big map for one of the quest cannot be displayed. Now trying to find direct X to install. Hopefully it helps ba. At least most of the stuff is done le....

Sisters' Gathering

Went for my friend's Sisters' Gathering today! So it's another event that I'll be my friend's sister (the 4th time for me). Actually, it's quite fun I feel but Joey is the most excited of us all! Probably 'cos she hasn't got a chance to be other bride's sister. Generally, the 1st time, I feel very excited as well! After many times, it's more of a fun thing to do. Especially when I can get to decide what games I want to play! Very chek ark of me hor? Well, actually it's cos I kena arrowed to do the thinking of all the games. Currently, I welcome all games suggestions if you have. :) Thanks in advance for that. But please give it to me more discretely k. The groom can't know about the games, if not then not fun le lol!
