Green Seminar

Hmm.. Went for the green seminar today. Some parts boring some parts interesting. The part on the planting of trees and the zero energy building is the most interesting ba I guess.
It reminds me of the article of this family last that sells back so much electricity to the PUB that their net PUB bills is quite little (think is around $50 a mth or so forgot the exact amount haha.. should be a mth ba. If is a yr then is super kua zhang le) 'cos the electricity managed to offset their water bills etc..
I was wondering if I should go and plant a tree haha.. Cost about $200 per tree for less than 10 trees. 10 - 49 trees is about $150 per tree. > 50 trees is $100 per tree. Of course I'm looking at planting just one tree ba. Since got tax rebates one and can help the environment so sounds not bad ma haha.. Let me think about it somemore ba. :D But then.. I better off my comp when I go home ba to save more power haha.. and best is dun do too much OT 'cos it waste power haha..

Free Antivirus Software

Just shared with one of my friends a few days ago that her computer is infected by some virus. And came to realised only yesterday that she's not the only one with unprotected computer. Then I'm wondering if it's just IT people that knows where to get free yet good antivirus software and install? Just to share with those that didn't know, AVG is really a very good yet free antivirus software. If you don't have one, it's best that you just download and install it so that your computer will be almost always virus free. At least most of the normal virus won't be able to disturb you :)

Real Implications of 2G Service Termination for Singapore

I know the article about 2G service termination across singapore from 1st Apr 2017 was written in 2015. But how many of us actually understand the true impact of this termination then? Before things get terminated, we may have felt that since our phone is the latest model or it is at least new, the impact is minimal. But how true is that really? Please, with Dual SIM feature, it's definitely not a Sunset! It is just the beginning of our agony.. :/ With reference to the article:  http://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/singapore/telcos-to-end-2g-services/1916108.html . I mainly only realised the impact since 21 Nov but according to M1, they had terminated the 2G services on their prepaid M Card since 15 Nov. So what does this really mean to us consumers? It means that with the Dual SIM phones out there in the market, you are in for a ride! Because, with Samsung's flagship model S7 or even the exploding model Note 7 that's later than S7, the standby or non data SIM opti...
