Egg Cake

Wanted to make Tiramisu with the teacher given recipe for the cream part and my colleague given recipe for the cake part. So that I no need to bake cake for it and make my life easier. Sadly, I beat the whipping cream too much haha.. It solidify and become quite solid and watery.. haiz.. So Bo bian throw that part away and try to use egg white substitute. After beating the egg white and sugar to fluffy state. I realized that my cheese cream has gone bad due to bad storage (ermm it should be freezed instead). So in the end.. I ask my bro go and find some recipe for the egg so that I dun waste it..

So I added the egg yolk and beat them together then added self raising flour.. Seems ok le but then...

This is the state of that cake 1 min after it left the oven. We tried the take a stick to poke mtd to test and see if it's done.. It wasn't ok.. Within 5 mins it sink back and become flat lol.. The only entertainment of the process is that ... It's funny seeing that abnormal giantic cake that grew to 2 times the size of all others haha..

So we put back to the oven bake for another 10 mins or so.. by then.. already black liao so bo bian need to take out.. And the dough is still in dough state haha.. the cake was actually hollow.. so it still sinks back.. I think either the process is wrong.. or maybe i should use a lower heat with longer baking time so that it's bake correctly and dun turn become chao ta.. hahaha..

Monopoly Deal - A Fun Game to Play @ Chalets!

I felt that Monopoly Deal is really a fun and challenging game to play, especially at the Chalet. There are many rules to the game, but luckily we had a  monopoly deal rules expert with us to double-click with in event of discrepancy! I feel that it requires strategy and some form of luck to win the game. So far, I always get good property cards sets but it always get taken away 'cos I don't have the "Just say NO" card and it tend to get taken away, especially if I've a complete set. Then, I tried the strategy of not putting up a complete set, then it also doesn't really work 'cos in the end, I don't end up putting my sets on the table. Perhaps, I'll need to play a lot more times and try different methods till I get the idea right I guess. If you do have the chance, try playing that game. It's really exciting, 'cos you'll never know how long will your properties stay with you! As well as, how much money you can have in your hands. T...

Business Network International

I went for one of my friends' Business Network International gathering today. It's actually quite interesting, although initially, I'm quite lost. But after some time, then ok le. A new experience I should say, with a group of people that likes whatever each other is going so much and having lots of fun! The people there are really very friendly, so I shall add those that I've talked to into my hotlist then. Just that I'm not too sure if they really remember me :P But after sometime, I'll need to replace my friend for about 2 weeks so it should be ok I guess. The only downside is that. 7.30am is really a tough timing to wake up and go for the meeting. I'm glad I'm there. I'm so blessed!

Shaun Stenning - Story of the Refund Request

I'm merely sharing the harsh truth and facts about the refund story started by Shaun Stenning himself. My post is biased toward my personal experience so judge it yourself. First of all, there was originally a blog post in their site to tell us that there will be a refund statement or something that will be send to us some Release Agreement but nothing ever happen other than the acknowledgment email reply which I've received from Shaun: "On Mon, Jan 24, 2011 at 12:15 PM, Shaun Stenning <shaun.stenning@dollarrose.com> wrote: your refund request has been received, please note that we will not be actioning the request until 1st March 2011 when you will receive the Release Agreement Shaun" After that, I just visited that link again and it has already been removed entirely. It's now loading page not found instead. If you were me, how would you feel?
