Book Fair

Went to book fair today and bought 3 books. The digital photo artist book originally cost $32++ with 20% discount was supposed to be $25++ but then due to human error, they labelled the entire stack as $5. So I thought it's really $5 and take it. Of course, it's tagged wrongly, so that sales person went to check why is it tagged as $5. After a very long time.. I think maybe 15mins or more ba.. the next guy also got strucked at the cashier 'cos his maths exam solutions was a separated out copy that does not includes the qn and it is not sold separately. After that guy left, my book is not back yet. When it finally came back, they confirmed that it's a mistake in tagging the price. So I walked away disappointedly then one of them called me back and said that since is their fault and I waited so long, they will honour their price and sell it to me @ $5 hee.. So... I got my book haha.. It's an interesting book and super value for money, especially for me hee.. The main tool they used to teach is photoshop but then I believe the user actually used non-windows machine ba.. the toolbar looks a bit different. There's some things inside that I've nv seen before maybe didn't played enough or something. It's time to learn more things.. :D

Wondering what this book is about?? haha.. the story goes like this... I wanted to buy a book to help me dress better.. Found another one that seems more interesting but a lot more ex.. This is the cheapest of that category -- $15.12 bucks. It says What you wear can change your life. So I wonder how it works. Was pretty curious so I bought it home too haha.. Hopefully, I will be able to wear things that suits me more.

Well the 3rd books teaches how to cook almost everything.. Sounds amazing and is $10.90 so I bought it loh.. But then too lazy to scan in the cover so too bad haha.. So in the end, I wasted quite an amt of money again..

Backup!

Haha.. I spent most of the day creating recovery disk (1 set -- initial setting), install everything I want then create backup disk. Lol.. Yes I really need the backup... 'cos before I create the backup.. I actually configure until the DVD drive cannot use.. Such that ermm heng hor, Windows have restore point and I was constantly installing stuff.. haha.. So I'm not too sure what config went nuts 'cos I just restore and start again loh.. It's just day 2 nia.. I spoiled the software again lol.. Think maybe I should just not try to be too funny about my config ba.. Then I try to play the game, it seems like my pointer settings will affect the game play if I use pointer. A bit ma fan.. So maybe I should just use mouse for it ba. And something wrong about the map also.. I can see the floor.. yes.. But the pic of the mini and big map for one of the quest cannot be displayed. Now trying to find direct X to install. Hopefully it helps ba. At least most of the stuff is done le....

Tiramisu @ The Tiramisu Hero Cafe

While walking from Jalan Besar Stadium's carpark to Lavender Food Square to eat my favourite wanton mee, we past by an interesting dessert cafe - the tiramisu hero . the tiramisu hero As a fan of tiramisu, I wonder why I haven't seen that place before that. So after dinner, we dropped by to check out their menu. I am amazed to know that they actually serves a wide variety of tiramisu flavours, unfortunately not all special flavours are available. From the board displayed at the order counter, I can see that they strike off all the sold out flavours... I believe their business must be very good because there's only a few flavours are left. The $3.5 MiniHero are all sold out. So I had to order the ♥ MommaHero (classic original flavour) instead. Even their menu looks so cute  ♥ While I was sitting at the table, waiting to be served, I wonder if I can even finish the entire tub myself as I am pretty full from dinner and it seems like it might be pretty big....

Free Antivirus Software

Just shared with one of my friends a few days ago that her computer is infected by some virus. And came to realised only yesterday that she's not the only one with unprotected computer. Then I'm wondering if it's just IT people that knows where to get free yet good antivirus software and install? Just to share with those that didn't know, AVG is really a very good yet free antivirus software. If you don't have one, it's best that you just download and install it so that your computer will be almost always virus free. At least most of the normal virus won't be able to disturb you :)
