A Busy Weekend...

Me & My Students for my Photoshop Workshop
Had a busy weekend! After completing my Photoshop Workshop, I'm glad that it was a success and my students gave me pretty nice testimonials. I really felt very grateful and blessed to be able to conduct that program and being able to have such nice students. :D And of course, I've managed to get a video testimonial as well.
That's my most motivated and amazing student, winning yet another prize :D

For me, the greatest achievement of conducting workshop is to see my students being able to produce presentable works. It doesn't have to be perfect but at least, they put in the energy and effort to learn, try and work on it. Perhaps due to my work commitment, I think the next program will need to be held on Saturday / Sunday instead.

Team Building Session...
After a day of conducting training, I joined my colleagues at a team building event. We had our buffet dinner at NUS Guild. It's a pretty nice place to have dinner I felt. Quite a number of choices and we will pick what we want and send it for cooking, etc. Just that it will be better if there's more variety of food available.

After that, we went for a chatting / drinking session at the bar next door, where I had my favorite Bailey's. Btw, it's actually not in the menu haha. Then we had KTV session for about close to 2.5 hours till 2am at the guild's KTV room. It's pretty fun but super tiring as I think my body cannot take it when I sleep after 2am anymore. Thanks to our nice colleague, we got a ride home. :)

That very day, I really had no voice after the entire event. So the lesson learnt is that, never sing KTV after conducting a 1 day lecture. :P

A nice looking house warming present I saw at BS's
house warming today!
Today, I overslept and didn't managed to wake up earlier for my packed saturday event. So missed one of the activity in the morning but doesn't really matter, after all it's just another seminar. Then I went to BS's house warming. His new house is pretty nice, and I saw many of our old guitar club mates! It's nice to see them around. Just wondering where's por por?

As for tomorrow's main activity is that, I need to bring the cashflow game to my friends and collect the Zoo run race pack. :D I guess, after all, I do get to go for the zoo run as well as the dinner gathering. :P So that means, it's going to be a tiring day when I go Aussie for training. We shall see how it goes then...

Backup!

Haha.. I spent most of the day creating recovery disk (1 set -- initial setting), install everything I want then create backup disk. Lol.. Yes I really need the backup... 'cos before I create the backup.. I actually configure until the DVD drive cannot use.. Such that ermm heng hor, Windows have restore point and I was constantly installing stuff.. haha.. So I'm not too sure what config went nuts 'cos I just restore and start again loh.. It's just day 2 nia.. I spoiled the software again lol.. Think maybe I should just not try to be too funny about my config ba.. Then I try to play the game, it seems like my pointer settings will affect the game play if I use pointer. A bit ma fan.. So maybe I should just use mouse for it ba. And something wrong about the map also.. I can see the floor.. yes.. But the pic of the mini and big map for one of the quest cannot be displayed. Now trying to find direct X to install. Hopefully it helps ba. At least most of the stuff is done le....

Mahjong Session

Ended up playing a day of mahjong at my friend's house yesterday 'cos didn't managed to find dinner kaki. The originally planned steamboat dinner somehow got cancelled. A bit sian about the cancellation but at least I still have friends playing mahjong with me ba. Went home quite late due to transportation issue haha.. The good part about this mahjong session was that hmm.. there's 50% on top of 50% discount which is about 75% off ba haha.. 'cos my luck was so bad that I've managed to lost $13 when the stakes is 5 cents / 10 cents lol.. I guess.. I better not play mahjong with money anymore le haha..

Tiramisu @ The Tiramisu Hero Cafe

While walking from Jalan Besar Stadium's carpark to Lavender Food Square to eat my favourite wanton mee, we past by an interesting dessert cafe - the tiramisu hero . the tiramisu hero As a fan of tiramisu, I wonder why I haven't seen that place before that. So after dinner, we dropped by to check out their menu. I am amazed to know that they actually serves a wide variety of tiramisu flavours, unfortunately not all special flavours are available. From the board displayed at the order counter, I can see that they strike off all the sold out flavours... I believe their business must be very good because there's only a few flavours are left. The $3.5 MiniHero are all sold out. So I had to order the ♥ MommaHero (classic original flavour) instead. Even their menu looks so cute  ♥ While I was sitting at the table, waiting to be served, I wonder if I can even finish the entire tub myself as I am pretty full from dinner and it seems like it might be pretty big....
