My 5 cents comments on my Printers

Hmm.. my conclusion after getting the new printer is that..

Support Service:
ermm well brother printer's customer support service is not very good but at least the service center is located at an accessible place but then the printer was heavy despite it's small size. As for my new printer haha.. ermm well.. from experience, the support is good 'cos they'll sent to your house de. This one have pick up service as well. I remember the last time i sent one for service, i got a subsitute printer for replacement haha. So I rated their service 5 stars.
Epson: *****
Brother: ***

Noise Level:
But then when comparing those 2 printers.. Brother printer is a lot quieter than the epson one.. 'cos the epson printer is like ermm so loud. I'm so not used to it now.
Epson: * (cannot be more noisy, haven't found any worse off one yet)
Brother: **** (can fight with laser printer le for such sound lvl haha)

Color & Print Quality:
But then color wise the difference is really big.. 'cos the color and print quality, epson one is really a lot better as well. For the waterproof part and the vivid color, it's good loh. But now the ink hor.. a bit weird.. the std one i calculate le.. dunno why buy economy color sounds slightly cheaper overall leh.. weird.. then who will buy the standard one? The draft quality is also different.. this part is where Brother's draft quality is better. 'cos epson one is really draft haha.. Brother one you can't really tell.
Epson: Normal - ***** Draft - **
Brother: Normal - *** Draft - ****

Price:
My Brother printer is cheaper but with more expensive ink.
My Epson printer is more ex but with cheaper ink. Overall, epson should be cheaper ba for my case.
Brother: **
Epson: ***

I shall send in my comments to epson for their consideration in improving their next printer haha.. I wonder if they'll take my comments into consideration

Real Implications of 2G Service Termination for Singapore

I know the article about 2G service termination across singapore from 1st Apr 2017 was written in 2015. But how many of us actually understand the true impact of this termination then? Before things get terminated, we may have felt that since our phone is the latest model or it is at least new, the impact is minimal. But how true is that really? Please, with Dual SIM feature, it's definitely not a Sunset! It is just the beginning of our agony.. :/ With reference to the article:  http://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/singapore/telcos-to-end-2g-services/1916108.html . I mainly only realised the impact since 21 Nov but according to M1, they had terminated the 2G services on their prepaid M Card since 15 Nov. So what does this really mean to us consumers? It means that with the Dual SIM phones out there in the market, you are in for a ride! Because, with Samsung's flagship model S7 or even the exploding model Note 7 that's later than S7, the standby or non data SIM opti...

Free Antivirus Software

Just shared with one of my friends a few days ago that her computer is infected by some virus. And came to realised only yesterday that she's not the only one with unprotected computer. Then I'm wondering if it's just IT people that knows where to get free yet good antivirus software and install? Just to share with those that didn't know, AVG is really a very good yet free antivirus software. If you don't have one, it's best that you just download and install it so that your computer will be almost always virus free. At least most of the normal virus won't be able to disturb you :)
