Tom's Palette - Coffee Cheesecake (Flavour of the Month)

Like my usual ice cream cravings, my favourite ice cream store is none other than Tom's Palette haha.. Simply because their ice cream are affordable and tasty. They had a wide range o flavour and variety with new flavours every now and then. :D 

This month's flavour of the month is -- Coffee Cheesecake! It's either that it's a new flavour or I had not noticed this flavour previously as it tasted great! Have a kind of Tiramisu taste maybe because of the coffee portion. With half a cup of Coffee Cheesecake and half a cup of Chocolate Sorbet, it was a heavenly combination for me! Haha.. I had a medium cup last Sunday, and I make sure that I go before 7pm haha.. so it's pre-dinner not dessert, otherwise, by the time I finished dinner, no more ice cream for me. :X

Opening Hours: 
Mon - Thurs: 12 - 9.30pm
Fri - Sat: 12 - 10pm
Sun: 1 - 7pm (Closed on last sunday of the month)

Well there's no link for this photo as I took it along our way from Shaw Tower to the building opposite Funan to pick up my boyfriend's shirt which he sent for altering. I just felt that the light and timing of the day makes that view at the traffic light looks pretty nice.. :)

I felt that Monopoly Deal is really a fun and challenging game to play, especially at the Chalet. There are many rules to the game, but luckily we had a  monopoly deal rules expert with us to double-click with in event of discrepancy! I feel that it requires strategy and some form of luck to win the game. So far, I always get good property cards sets but it always get taken away 'cos I don't have the "Just say NO" card and it tend to get taken away, especially if I've a complete set. Then, I tried the strategy of not putting up a complete set, then it also doesn't really work 'cos in the end, I don't end up putting my sets on the table. Perhaps, I'll need to play a lot more times and try different methods till I get the idea right I guess. If you do have the chance, try playing that game. It's really exciting, 'cos you'll never know how long will your properties stay with you! As well as, how much money you can have in your hands. T...

Shaun Stenning - Story of the Refund Request

I'm merely sharing the harsh truth and facts about the refund story started by Shaun Stenning himself. My post is biased toward my personal experience so judge it yourself. First of all, there was originally a blog post in their site to tell us that there will be a refund statement or something that will be send to us some Release Agreement but nothing ever happen other than the acknowledgment email reply which I've received from Shaun: "On Mon, Jan 24, 2011 at 12:15 PM, Shaun Stenning <shaun.stenning@dollarrose.com> wrote: your refund request has been received, please note that we will not be actioning the request until 1st March 2011 when you will receive the Release Agreement Shaun" After that, I just visited that link again and it has already been removed entirely. It's now loading page not found instead. If you were me, how would you feel?

Business Network International

I went for one of my friends' Business Network International gathering today. It's actually quite interesting, although initially, I'm quite lost. But after some time, then ok le. A new experience I should say, with a group of people that likes whatever each other is going so much and having lots of fun! The people there are really very friendly, so I shall add those that I've talked to into my hotlist then. Just that I'm not too sure if they really remember me :P But after sometime, I'll need to replace my friend for about 2 weeks so it should be ok I guess. The only downside is that. 7.30am is really a tough timing to wake up and go for the meeting. I'm glad I'm there. I'm so blessed!
