Hotpot Singapore Style @ Tampines 1 - Jumbo Group

Banner advertisement always worked well for customers like me, especially when the banner of food is displayed at pretty obvious places, e.g. on a pillar right in front of a shopping mall. Haha... this is how we found out that there's this Hotpot Singapore Style restaurant. The business of this place is pretty good as we had to queue quite a while before we got our seat on a Friday night.

Although price is kinda steep but the food is really very nice. I think the price is steep mainly because it's ala carte steamboat order where the soup base and all items for the steamboat can be ordered individually. Although there's set meal but our order ended up costing less than set meals so we didn't ordered the set one. We figured that we probably can't finish all the food if we order the set, guess what... we are right!!

In the end, I suspect that we probably still did ordered a little too much as I was very full at the end of the meal.. haha.. Maybe because the food looks nice so I ordered a bit of quite a number of food varieties that I liked to eat of course.

They had this small bowls like the one on the bottom left of the photo which is actually saucer that I mistook as bowl haha.. It was that big as I managed to put quite a lot of food into this saucer itself. The specialty was to mix your own sauce at the buffet like counters at the middle of the restaurant. Pretty cool, too bad I found out only after my meal and I was so hungry that I just keep cooking and eating my food that night haha.. :P

Real Implications of 2G Service Termination for Singapore

I know the article about 2G service termination across singapore from 1st Apr 2017 was written in 2015. But how many of us actually understand the true impact of this termination then? Before things get terminated, we may have felt that since our phone is the latest model or it is at least new, the impact is minimal. But how true is that really? Please, with Dual SIM feature, it's definitely not a Sunset! It is just the beginning of our agony.. :/ With reference to the article:  http://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/singapore/telcos-to-end-2g-services/1916108.html . I mainly only realised the impact since 21 Nov but according to M1, they had terminated the 2G services on their prepaid M Card since 15 Nov. So what does this really mean to us consumers? It means that with the Dual SIM phones out there in the market, you are in for a ride! Because, with Samsung's flagship model S7 or even the exploding model Note 7 that's later than S7, the standby or non data SIM opti...

Free Antivirus Software

Just shared with one of my friends a few days ago that her computer is infected by some virus. And came to realised only yesterday that she's not the only one with unprotected computer. Then I'm wondering if it's just IT people that knows where to get free yet good antivirus software and install? Just to share with those that didn't know, AVG is really a very good yet free antivirus software. If you don't have one, it's best that you just download and install it so that your computer will be almost always virus free. At least most of the normal virus won't be able to disturb you :)
