Merry Christmas @ Orchard Central

With Christmas around the corner, I guess, perhaps along Orchard road, Orchard Central had one of the most charming looking decorations. So many people taking photos around the area, all thanks to the hard work and lovely design that Far East had put up for their shopping centre.

One of the popular corner of that building is that swing outside the mall. You only get this kind of view when it's not so crowded.. After 8pm on Christmas Eve, itself, I had severe difficulties walking beyond the mall to cross over the next building.

I can't believe why would the lady dance mid air above the "wine" bar at the exhibition area.. Isn't she tired, I thought to myself? But I have to say that it's certainly an interesting sight and attracts crowd too..

Here's the tree outside the mall...

We had to go through the "secret" underground linkage via B2 to cross the road over to Centre point where the roads are broader.. In fact traffic inside the Orchard Central vs outside, there's far more human crowding outside the mall than inside it.

I hope that the entire orchard road's renovation will end soon so that we'll get the big broad pathway all  to ourselves again and no need to worry about the crowded pavement anymore. :)

Most importantly, I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

Monopoly Deal - A Fun Game to Play @ Chalets!

I felt that Monopoly Deal is really a fun and challenging game to play, especially at the Chalet. There are many rules to the game, but luckily we had a  monopoly deal rules expert with us to double-click with in event of discrepancy! I feel that it requires strategy and some form of luck to win the game. So far, I always get good property cards sets but it always get taken away 'cos I don't have the "Just say NO" card and it tend to get taken away, especially if I've a complete set. Then, I tried the strategy of not putting up a complete set, then it also doesn't really work 'cos in the end, I don't end up putting my sets on the table. Perhaps, I'll need to play a lot more times and try different methods till I get the idea right I guess. If you do have the chance, try playing that game. It's really exciting, 'cos you'll never know how long will your properties stay with you! As well as, how much money you can have in your hands. T...

Business Network International

I went for one of my friends' Business Network International gathering today. It's actually quite interesting, although initially, I'm quite lost. But after some time, then ok le. A new experience I should say, with a group of people that likes whatever each other is going so much and having lots of fun! The people there are really very friendly, so I shall add those that I've talked to into my hotlist then. Just that I'm not too sure if they really remember me :P But after sometime, I'll need to replace my friend for about 2 weeks so it should be ok I guess. The only downside is that. 7.30am is really a tough timing to wake up and go for the meeting. I'm glad I'm there. I'm so blessed!

Shaun Stenning - Story of the Refund Request

I'm merely sharing the harsh truth and facts about the refund story started by Shaun Stenning himself. My post is biased toward my personal experience so judge it yourself. First of all, there was originally a blog post in their site to tell us that there will be a refund statement or something that will be send to us some Release Agreement but nothing ever happen other than the acknowledgment email reply which I've received from Shaun: "On Mon, Jan 24, 2011 at 12:15 PM, Shaun Stenning <shaun.stenning@dollarrose.com> wrote: your refund request has been received, please note that we will not be actioning the request until 1st March 2011 when you will receive the Release Agreement Shaun" After that, I just visited that link again and it has already been removed entirely. It's now loading page not found instead. If you were me, how would you feel?
