Orchard Central - Roof Garden

Apart from the tall shopping centre, which is almost all that I could remember about Orchard Central, its roof garden is certainly a memorable one as well :) Went there to take a look the previous weekend and it's truly nice looking. The only down side is that, there's no seats or whatever, just pathways that we can walk. Visitors caught sitting down along the pavement will get chased out of the way by the strict security. But still, you should drop by to take a look at the nice garden at least once. :)

Orchard Central – Roof Garden

I've noticed that in the middle of the building, we noticed some flea market like stall owners that seems to be swapping flies. With such little crowd, I wonder how the tenants survive. Perhaps not so much about the restaurants due to the nature of the business but rather those shopping stores had such little crowd / visitors.

Basically, the shopping mall had just so many floors that not many people actually goes all the way up or to walk around the entire building. My guess as to why the building had so little crowd despite me visiting on a weekend is that probably the building is too tall, the crowd was dispersed by the number of floors it has. If only the building had a better theme or perhaps a better niche market, perhaps that place can do well. Just some suggestions...

Monopoly Deal - A Fun Game to Play @ Chalets!

I felt that Monopoly Deal is really a fun and challenging game to play, especially at the Chalet. There are many rules to the game, but luckily we had a  monopoly deal rules expert with us to double-click with in event of discrepancy! I feel that it requires strategy and some form of luck to win the game. So far, I always get good property cards sets but it always get taken away 'cos I don't have the "Just say NO" card and it tend to get taken away, especially if I've a complete set. Then, I tried the strategy of not putting up a complete set, then it also doesn't really work 'cos in the end, I don't end up putting my sets on the table. Perhaps, I'll need to play a lot more times and try different methods till I get the idea right I guess. If you do have the chance, try playing that game. It's really exciting, 'cos you'll never know how long will your properties stay with you! As well as, how much money you can have in your hands. T...

Business Network International

I went for one of my friends' Business Network International gathering today. It's actually quite interesting, although initially, I'm quite lost. But after some time, then ok le. A new experience I should say, with a group of people that likes whatever each other is going so much and having lots of fun! The people there are really very friendly, so I shall add those that I've talked to into my hotlist then. Just that I'm not too sure if they really remember me :P But after sometime, I'll need to replace my friend for about 2 weeks so it should be ok I guess. The only downside is that. 7.30am is really a tough timing to wake up and go for the meeting. I'm glad I'm there. I'm so blessed!

Shaun Stenning - Story of the Refund Request

I'm merely sharing the harsh truth and facts about the refund story started by Shaun Stenning himself. My post is biased toward my personal experience so judge it yourself. First of all, there was originally a blog post in their site to tell us that there will be a refund statement or something that will be send to us some Release Agreement but nothing ever happen other than the acknowledgment email reply which I've received from Shaun: "On Mon, Jan 24, 2011 at 12:15 PM, Shaun Stenning <shaun.stenning@dollarrose.com> wrote: your refund request has been received, please note that we will not be actioning the request until 1st March 2011 when you will receive the Release Agreement Shaun" After that, I just visited that link again and it has already been removed entirely. It's now loading page not found instead. If you were me, how would you feel?
