Helping Out in Lifestyle 2010 @ Funan Digitalife Mall

For these few days, I've been helping out in a booth event at Lifestyle 2010 @ Funan Digitalife Mall. The downside is that well, there are quite few people visiting our booth. Not too sure why but after changing the arrangement of the deco 2 times, we've decided to let it as what it is currently. Yesterday I think we have the most people visiting and register I guess.

On the average there's only like around < 20 people passing by our actual booth. So the exhibitors are practically visiting each other's booth instead. The good thing is that there's a OTO booth opposite us and we get to enjoy their massage chairs while resting occasionally.

Due to the low traffic amount, I've resorted to distributing flyers outside the mall at the traffic junction area as any other areas, I'll get complains usually, and that area have the most crowd so far just that it's super hot during lunch hour. I'm sort of sun burnt now. But at least there are people calling us after receiving the flyers so the result is worth my energy I guess.

My conclusion is that, when times call, must change and revise the strategy to make things work, cannot sit there and wait for something to happen because by doing that, most of the time, nothing will ever happen.

But then the only issue is that ermm due to my over enthusiasm, I went to distribute flyers at the carpark and kena complained. Just that I happened to be outside so they didn't manage to find me. Fortunately, an apology solve everything and of course the removal of the flyers off the cars. Lesson learnt is never distribute flyers at monitored carpark 'cos they have cctv and they'll take photo of me! So next time must distribute to those open carparks where they take carpark coupon instead of cashcard :P

Monopoly Deal - A Fun Game to Play @ Chalets!

I felt that Monopoly Deal is really a fun and challenging game to play, especially at the Chalet. There are many rules to the game, but luckily we had a  monopoly deal rules expert with us to double-click with in event of discrepancy! I feel that it requires strategy and some form of luck to win the game. So far, I always get good property cards sets but it always get taken away 'cos I don't have the "Just say NO" card and it tend to get taken away, especially if I've a complete set. Then, I tried the strategy of not putting up a complete set, then it also doesn't really work 'cos in the end, I don't end up putting my sets on the table. Perhaps, I'll need to play a lot more times and try different methods till I get the idea right I guess. If you do have the chance, try playing that game. It's really exciting, 'cos you'll never know how long will your properties stay with you! As well as, how much money you can have in your hands. T

Business Network International

I went for one of my friends' Business Network International gathering today. It's actually quite interesting, although initially, I'm quite lost. But after some time, then ok le. A new experience I should say, with a group of people that likes whatever each other is going so much and having lots of fun! The people there are really very friendly, so I shall add those that I've talked to into my hotlist then. Just that I'm not too sure if they really remember me :P But after sometime, I'll need to replace my friend for about 2 weeks so it should be ok I guess. The only downside is that. 7.30am is really a tough timing to wake up and go for the meeting. I'm glad I'm there. I'm so blessed!

Shaun Stenning - Story of the Refund Request

I'm merely sharing the harsh truth and facts about the refund story started by Shaun Stenning himself. My post is biased toward my personal experience so judge it yourself. First of all, there was originally a blog post in their site to tell us that there will be a refund statement or something that will be send to us some Release Agreement but nothing ever happen other than the acknowledgment email reply which I've received from Shaun: "On Mon, Jan 24, 2011 at 12:15 PM, Shaun Stenning <shaun.stenning@dollarrose.com> wrote: your refund request has been received, please note that we will not be actioning the request until 1st March 2011 when you will receive the Release Agreement Shaun" After that, I just visited that link again and it has already been removed entirely. It's now loading page not found instead. If you were me, how would you feel?
