SPCA flag day!

Yeah, I've completed the SPCA flag day. But then 'cos I wanted to help but not that hard working so I only take the tin and tried to get donations for 1hr and 20 mins haha.. After all, the far east plaza's bridge linkway to the DFS Galleria was shaking rather vigorously for a while, hence I was a quite scared and dunno where else to go and decided to just report the case to the security guard and end my volunteer work haha.. At least I've tried my best during that period of time to help those animals. :)

Hoped that the bridge gets checked as what the security guard told me, and get fixed up and certified to be safe if not I'm just worried that what if it collapse with people on top or with cars below.. Hopefully, it's just me being paranoid haha. What I can do is just to pray that all is well for that bridge, the cars below it, and the people on top of it. Maybe it's just 'cos there's lots of vehicles travelling under it at fast speed with someone running across that bridge that caused the big vibration. 'cos it's not just me that felt it, the boy that donated also felt me and tell me that it's best to leave the bridge soon and notify somebody.

Monopoly Deal - A Fun Game to Play @ Chalets!

I felt that Monopoly Deal is really a fun and challenging game to play, especially at the Chalet. There are many rules to the game, but luckily we had a  monopoly deal rules expert with us to double-click with in event of discrepancy! I feel that it requires strategy and some form of luck to win the game. So far, I always get good property cards sets but it always get taken away 'cos I don't have the "Just say NO" card and it tend to get taken away, especially if I've a complete set. Then, I tried the strategy of not putting up a complete set, then it also doesn't really work 'cos in the end, I don't end up putting my sets on the table. Perhaps, I'll need to play a lot more times and try different methods till I get the idea right I guess. If you do have the chance, try playing that game. It's really exciting, 'cos you'll never know how long will your properties stay with you! As well as, how much money you can have in your hands. T...

Business Network International

I went for one of my friends' Business Network International gathering today. It's actually quite interesting, although initially, I'm quite lost. But after some time, then ok le. A new experience I should say, with a group of people that likes whatever each other is going so much and having lots of fun! The people there are really very friendly, so I shall add those that I've talked to into my hotlist then. Just that I'm not too sure if they really remember me :P But after sometime, I'll need to replace my friend for about 2 weeks so it should be ok I guess. The only downside is that. 7.30am is really a tough timing to wake up and go for the meeting. I'm glad I'm there. I'm so blessed!

Shaun Stenning - Story of the Refund Request

I'm merely sharing the harsh truth and facts about the refund story started by Shaun Stenning himself. My post is biased toward my personal experience so judge it yourself. First of all, there was originally a blog post in their site to tell us that there will be a refund statement or something that will be send to us some Release Agreement but nothing ever happen other than the acknowledgment email reply which I've received from Shaun: "On Mon, Jan 24, 2011 at 12:15 PM, Shaun Stenning <shaun.stenning@dollarrose.com> wrote: your refund request has been received, please note that we will not be actioning the request until 1st March 2011 when you will receive the Release Agreement Shaun" After that, I just visited that link again and it has already been removed entirely. It's now loading page not found instead. If you were me, how would you feel?
