Heart, Mind & Body Festival @ Fort Canning - Mar 2012

Visited the Heart, Mind & Body Festival yesterday, not forgetting to take photos of the nice scenery along the way. 

Alighted at the Dhoby Ghaut MRT station and had quite a long stroll to the place, the stairs was pretty high from the looks of it but still I managed to make it there... Honestly speaking, if not for the posters and arrow guides along the way, I certainly cannot find the venue.

I would say that this is an interesting fair to visit once in a while as it brings upon enlightenment of various different school of thoughts and ideas on how we can understand ourselves, clear our minds, fill our heart and heal our body. The downside of this batch was that the venue was kind of smaller than usual making it rather cramp. I wasn't able to locate the seminar venue when I was there though, so I wonder was it because I didn't explored enough or something. *still wondering*

The part I loved more was the trip there, fresh air and nice views...

Backup!

Haha.. I spent most of the day creating recovery disk (1 set -- initial setting), install everything I want then create backup disk. Lol.. Yes I really need the backup... 'cos before I create the backup.. I actually configure until the DVD drive cannot use.. Such that ermm heng hor, Windows have restore point and I was constantly installing stuff.. haha.. So I'm not too sure what config went nuts 'cos I just restore and start again loh.. It's just day 2 nia.. I spoiled the software again lol.. Think maybe I should just not try to be too funny about my config ba.. Then I try to play the game, it seems like my pointer settings will affect the game play if I use pointer. A bit ma fan.. So maybe I should just use mouse for it ba. And something wrong about the map also.. I can see the floor.. yes.. But the pic of the mini and big map for one of the quest cannot be displayed. Now trying to find direct X to install. Hopefully it helps ba. At least most of the stuff is done le....

Free Antivirus Software

Just shared with one of my friends a few days ago that her computer is infected by some virus. And came to realised only yesterday that she's not the only one with unprotected computer. Then I'm wondering if it's just IT people that knows where to get free yet good antivirus software and install? Just to share with those that didn't know, AVG is really a very good yet free antivirus software. If you don't have one, it's best that you just download and install it so that your computer will be almost always virus free. At least most of the normal virus won't be able to disturb you :)
