Dinner @ Casuarina Curry, MacPherson - Finally!

After visiting the original Casuarina Curry along Casuarina Road for like about 2 times, we always saw the MacPherson signboard but never got to the new place as I haven't got that address with me. Finally, I took the address from my previous blog post and went to the new place for dinner :D

The new Casuarina Curry @ MacPherson has a newly renovated feeling. Perhaps a much smaller place, rather quiet and not many customers at this time of the day. Maybe because it's a weekday evening or maybe because it's new so there aren't that many people that know of its presence. Of course, that's just my speculations.

As for the food wise, I would say that the mushroom and cheese prata tasted about the same but it somehow looks smaller than the one at Casuarina Road. Not sure if it's an illusion but the green plate, usually used for holding rice makes it rather hard to cut my prata. If not for the convenience of the location, because it's nearer to the airport where I'm working at, perhaps I'd rather visit the main branch instead. Hmm does that sound like why there's so few people around? *still wondering*

I also noticed a signboard that says "Open on Chinese New Year, 7am - 12am". It's an Indian shop so of course it'd be opened I felt.

Backup!

Haha.. I spent most of the day creating recovery disk (1 set -- initial setting), install everything I want then create backup disk. Lol.. Yes I really need the backup... 'cos before I create the backup.. I actually configure until the DVD drive cannot use.. Such that ermm heng hor, Windows have restore point and I was constantly installing stuff.. haha.. So I'm not too sure what config went nuts 'cos I just restore and start again loh.. It's just day 2 nia.. I spoiled the software again lol.. Think maybe I should just not try to be too funny about my config ba.. Then I try to play the game, it seems like my pointer settings will affect the game play if I use pointer. A bit ma fan.. So maybe I should just use mouse for it ba. And something wrong about the map also.. I can see the floor.. yes.. But the pic of the mini and big map for one of the quest cannot be displayed. Now trying to find direct X to install. Hopefully it helps ba. At least most of the stuff is done le....

Tiramisu @ The Tiramisu Hero Cafe

While walking from Jalan Besar Stadium's carpark to Lavender Food Square to eat my favourite wanton mee, we past by an interesting dessert cafe - the tiramisu hero . the tiramisu hero As a fan of tiramisu, I wonder why I haven't seen that place before that. So after dinner, we dropped by to check out their menu. I am amazed to know that they actually serves a wide variety of tiramisu flavours, unfortunately not all special flavours are available. From the board displayed at the order counter, I can see that they strike off all the sold out flavours... I believe their business must be very good because there's only a few flavours are left. The $3.5 MiniHero are all sold out. So I had to order the ♥ MommaHero (classic original flavour) instead. Even their menu looks so cute ♥ While I was sitting at the table, waiting to be served, I wonder if I can even finish the entire tub myself as I am pretty full from dinner and it seems like it might be pretty big....

Free Antivirus Software

Just shared with one of my friends a few days ago that her computer is infected by some virus. And came to realised only yesterday that she's not the only one with unprotected computer. Then I'm wondering if it's just IT people that knows where to get free yet good antivirus software and install? Just to share with those that didn't know, AVG is really a very good yet free antivirus software. If you don't have one, it's best that you just download and install it so that your computer will be almost always virus free. At least most of the normal virus won't be able to disturb you :)
