Dolly Kitchen @ Shanghai Dolly's Nice Porridge

Have you ever experience the feeling of having the entire restaurant just to yourself? Most importantly, the food is nice and the service is great! This meal from what you can see, cost about $15.90. And we've got the entire restaurant to ourselves for 75% of the time. The last 25% is due to me eating too slowly and another group of customers dropped by.

We reached the place at about 8pm and the place was empty, I couldn't believe my eyes. Then we started ordering the porridge as that's the only food around that I can eat anyway. Hence, we've decided to just give it a try...

My Share of the Food, in fact, mainly the egg and porridge
of course, and the soaked you tiao
The food was pretty good, not sure if it's due to me not having a lot of food variety recently. But the place is pretty well decorated and peaceful. Unlike the noisy ground floor where there's lots of pubs and "chiong" places, this restaurant is exceptionally quiet, with just some music and few guests.

For me, I'd probably drop by for dinner again when I had the chance next time so that I get to try out the other dishes as well. :D After all, the atmosphere is nice and I love the porridge.

Dolly Kitchen @ Shanghai Dolly is located at Blk B Clarke Quay, 3 River Valley Rd. #01-01 (Level 2), Singapore 179031 Tel: +65 6336 7676

Recommended time of visit, before 9pm Sunday.

Free Antivirus Software

Just shared with one of my friends a few days ago that her computer is infected by some virus. And came to realised only yesterday that she's not the only one with unprotected computer. Then I'm wondering if it's just IT people that knows where to get free yet good antivirus software and install? Just to share with those that didn't know, AVG is really a very good yet free antivirus software. If you don't have one, it's best that you just download and install it so that your computer will be almost always virus free. At least most of the normal virus won't be able to disturb you :)

Monopoly Deal - A Fun Game to Play @ Chalets!

I felt that Monopoly Deal is really a fun and challenging game to play, especially at the Chalet. There are many rules to the game, but luckily we had a  monopoly deal rules expert with us to double-click with in event of discrepancy! I feel that it requires strategy and some form of luck to win the game. So far, I always get good property cards sets but it always get taken away 'cos I don't have the "Just say NO" card and it tend to get taken away, especially if I've a complete set. Then, I tried the strategy of not putting up a complete set, then it also doesn't really work 'cos in the end, I don't end up putting my sets on the table. Perhaps, I'll need to play a lot more times and try different methods till I get the idea right I guess. If you do have the chance, try playing that game. It's really exciting, 'cos you'll never know how long will your properties stay with you! As well as, how much money you can have in your hands. T...
