2nd Weekend in Melbourne

This weekend we went shopping at Bridge Road. It's quite a long stretch of shops and has quite a lot of things to look at. I bought some t-shirts that looks quite cute. :D The only sad thing is that.. it's such a rainy saturday, it rained almost the entire day, just that we can still proceed as the rain wasn't exactly that big.
The big Caterpillar

The water cooler like drinking point along the park...
It's actually a pretty interesting sight to see that there's a drinking point in the park as usually Singapore's park don't really have such a thing, at least not that I've known of. Especially when the park wasn't very big. For those bigger and well known parks, at least at the visitor corner, there might be water point and toilets, for small ones, there won't be anything at all.
The cute flower which "seem" to follow us everywhere...

杨枝甘露 without the Pomelo
Quite disappointed as the mango is sour and I think the one in Singapore tasted much better. After all, it's my favourite food.. If it does taste good.
That's my roommate!
With us lazing around sitting at the seats facing the river and looking at the sea gulls flying and hopping around. Singapore's pace is really far too fast and hectic such that we all missed the good old days of being calm and relaxed, being able to have picnic at beaches, laze around, chatting and unwinding.

Monopoly Deal - A Fun Game to Play @ Chalets!

I felt that Monopoly Deal is really a fun and challenging game to play, especially at the Chalet. There are many rules to the game, but luckily we had a  monopoly deal rules expert with us to double-click with in event of discrepancy! I feel that it requires strategy and some form of luck to win the game. So far, I always get good property cards sets but it always get taken away 'cos I don't have the "Just say NO" card and it tend to get taken away, especially if I've a complete set. Then, I tried the strategy of not putting up a complete set, then it also doesn't really work 'cos in the end, I don't end up putting my sets on the table. Perhaps, I'll need to play a lot more times and try different methods till I get the idea right I guess. If you do have the chance, try playing that game. It's really exciting, 'cos you'll never know how long will your properties stay with you! As well as, how much money you can have in your hands. T...

Business Network International

I went for one of my friends' Business Network International gathering today. It's actually quite interesting, although initially, I'm quite lost. But after some time, then ok le. A new experience I should say, with a group of people that likes whatever each other is going so much and having lots of fun! The people there are really very friendly, so I shall add those that I've talked to into my hotlist then. Just that I'm not too sure if they really remember me :P But after sometime, I'll need to replace my friend for about 2 weeks so it should be ok I guess. The only downside is that. 7.30am is really a tough timing to wake up and go for the meeting. I'm glad I'm there. I'm so blessed!

Shaun Stenning - Story of the Refund Request

I'm merely sharing the harsh truth and facts about the refund story started by Shaun Stenning himself. My post is biased toward my personal experience so judge it yourself. First of all, there was originally a blog post in their site to tell us that there will be a refund statement or something that will be send to us some Release Agreement but nothing ever happen other than the acknowledgment email reply which I've received from Shaun: "On Mon, Jan 24, 2011 at 12:15 PM, Shaun Stenning <shaun.stenning@dollarrose.com> wrote: your refund request has been received, please note that we will not be actioning the request until 1st March 2011 when you will receive the Release Agreement Shaun" After that, I just visited that link again and it has already been removed entirely. It's now loading page not found instead. If you were me, how would you feel?
