Nepal Day 1

Reached Kathmandu, Nepal around afternoon (1.30pm or so), transit at Bangkok and bought 1 x cosmetic at Changi Airport Duty Free. Then our friend's friend (guide at Nepal) pass us the Yeti air tickets to Pokhara, of which our flight is around 3+pm. Our guide took us to eat Mo Mo at one of the restaurant nearby and helped us get free cab to the airport for our flight. Thanks. By the time we reached Pokhara, it's already evening le. We checked in to our hotel at Hotel Billabong Garden. Quite ok ba, got bed, toilet and tv. Just that, it's a pretty weird place 'cos hor.. the electricity got problem, every 6 hours no power then 3 hours got power. And it continues... I received flowers and welcome banner at the hotel.

Took Photos for tracking pass and other stuff for trekking to Mustang, Muktinath. 'cos Tourist ma, got more permit to apply haha.. What to do?

Things to take note are:
1. Please bring at least 2 passport photos as well as USD25 per person for the entry visa, the visa last about 15 days only. Not sure how to extend 'cos we didn't stayed that long but heard that it can be extended.
2. At least 4 photos needed per trekking location and of course more money for the pass as well. Around 2.5K Nepal money for that trekking pass and other stuff that we need to apply.
3. Patience is golden... 'cos everything takes time and is fresh & organic.
4. Air tickets to foreigners cost more around USD 92 + 170 Nepal Money air port tax per trip / flight for most airlines.

Real Implications of 2G Service Termination for Singapore

I know the article about 2G service termination across singapore from 1st Apr 2017 was written in 2015. But how many of us actually understand the true impact of this termination then? Before things get terminated, we may have felt that since our phone is the latest model or it is at least new, the impact is minimal. But how true is that really? Please, with Dual SIM feature, it's definitely not a Sunset! It is just the beginning of our agony.. :/ With reference to the article:  http://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/singapore/telcos-to-end-2g-services/1916108.html . I mainly only realised the impact since 21 Nov but according to M1, they had terminated the 2G services on their prepaid M Card since 15 Nov. So what does this really mean to us consumers? It means that with the Dual SIM phones out there in the market, you are in for a ride! Because, with Samsung's flagship model S7 or even the exploding model Note 7 that's later than S7, the standby or non data SIM opti...

Free Antivirus Software

Just shared with one of my friends a few days ago that her computer is infected by some virus. And came to realised only yesterday that she's not the only one with unprotected computer. Then I'm wondering if it's just IT people that knows where to get free yet good antivirus software and install? Just to share with those that didn't know, AVG is really a very good yet free antivirus software. If you don't have one, it's best that you just download and install it so that your computer will be almost always virus free. At least most of the normal virus won't be able to disturb you :)
