Upcoming Trips

Looking forward to my trips around mar and apr haha. I wonder if my s/w mgr will approve my leaves or not lol. 'cos I'll need to take quite a lot of leaves then :D

My Aussie trip has been postponed a bit but the number of leaves required is still the same and the other trip I'm not sure when exactly it will be and I haven't informed my friend that I'm going yet. If my mum didn't complain much by tml, I'll just confirm it ba haha. Oh ya.. subjected to approval from office as well. Still need to check out the hotel rates for the Aussie trip. Actually, it's quite ma fan to be part of the planning. Prefer to be those tag along type haha..

Monopoly Deal - A Fun Game to Play @ Chalets!

I felt that Monopoly Deal is really a fun and challenging game to play, especially at the Chalet. There are many rules to the game, but luckily we had a  monopoly deal rules expert with us to double-click with in event of discrepancy! I feel that it requires strategy and some form of luck to win the game. So far, I always get good property cards sets but it always get taken away 'cos I don't have the "Just say NO" card and it tend to get taken away, especially if I've a complete set. Then, I tried the strategy of not putting up a complete set, then it also doesn't really work 'cos in the end, I don't end up putting my sets on the table. Perhaps, I'll need to play a lot more times and try different methods till I get the idea right I guess. If you do have the chance, try playing that game. It's really exciting, 'cos you'll never know how long will your properties stay with you! As well as, how much money you can have in your hands. T...

Shaun Stenning - Story of the Refund Request

I'm merely sharing the harsh truth and facts about the refund story started by Shaun Stenning himself. My post is biased toward my personal experience so judge it yourself. First of all, there was originally a blog post in their site to tell us that there will be a refund statement or something that will be send to us some Release Agreement but nothing ever happen other than the acknowledgment email reply which I've received from Shaun: "On Mon, Jan 24, 2011 at 12:15 PM, Shaun Stenning <shaun.stenning@dollarrose.com> wrote: your refund request has been received, please note that we will not be actioning the request until 1st March 2011 when you will receive the Release Agreement Shaun" After that, I just visited that link again and it has already been removed entirely. It's now loading page not found instead. If you were me, how would you feel?

Tom's Palette - Coffee Cheesecake (Flavour of the Month)

Like my usual ice cream cravings, my favourite ice cream store is none other than Tom's Palette haha.. Simply because their ice cream are affordable and tasty. They had a wide range o flavour and variety with new flavours every now and then. :D  This month's flavour of the month is -- Coffee Cheesecake! It's either that it's a new flavour or I had not noticed this flavour previously as it tasted great! Have a kind of Tiramisu taste maybe because of the coffee portion. With half a cup of Coffee Cheesecake and half a cup of Chocolate Sorbet, it was a heavenly combination for me! Haha..
